This tree is next to a skateboarding ramp/park and the kids have adopted it as their marking point with their trainers. There must be around 30-40 of them on there.

magnify the wildflowers ... see the harmony and contrast with their neighbors, the prairie grass!

I was waiting a few minutes for a train to arrive and I took this photo with my iPad on the spur of the moment. The light and shadows were striking. I was pleased with how the Hipstamatic captured it.

Street Tree

This little church has been beckoning me to take its picture for the past few years and today was the decided day. Fog embraced the sides of the building and cloud cover illuminated soft light from above on this petite house of prayer.

This image was captured at the Longwood Gardens Conservatory on May 28 with iPhone and Hipstamatic Oggl app. Jane Camera and Black Keys Super Grain film were used.

The day started out pretty warm and humid, some rain storms came very close by. While we only got some sprinkles, after they passed it turned out to be an amazingly chilly afternoon.

The beautiful glass conservatory made for a nice warm place to relax and enjoy the display while we waited for scattered family member to meet up with us.

Taken with my iPhone 5 using Hipstamatic. Later decided to add some texture so ran it through DistressedFX, an app that would be awesome if it saved at full resolution and didn't strip the EXIF data out of the photo. Despite that, I liked the effect so I decided to go with it.

Casey Jones you'd better watch your speed...I'll admit the train totally took me by surprise. I'd walked up to the tracks to shoot the first the tracks and then the stairs down below the overpass and it came out of nowhere! No harm done though, and I caught this awesome shot to boot!
