One of the reason I love winter is the mood that it creates. There's nothing better for a moody image

I love this city

Okay, so I know this is a little bit dark compared to pretty flowers and all, but I just liked playing around with this photo. I think the puppy takes away from the dark feel a little, but I really liked him in the photo. I was going to add some blood stains, but I thought that was a little much.

Don't worry friends, I'm not in a dark mood, just playing around with some older photos before Jessica gets here.

I'm surprised this flower is still with life..... Can't let her beauty go to waste. :o)

This was taken in Durham like the last picture but just a few months earlier and looking in the opposite direction! The vantage point is from a bridge and although the darkness of night was fast approaching I decided to use that to my advantage for a night time shot. I tried a few ideas in pp but liked the black and white look of the image best! I used a sixth of a second shutter with a 400 ISO level and took a deep breath as I engaged the shutter release on the lovely Fuji S5600 bridge camera!
