My wife decorated this egg at a neighborhood event many years ago. I believe that the individual who led the group was Ukrainian - the name for these wax-resist decorated eggs derives from the Old Slavonic Пьсати, which refers to writing. While this form of decoration is closely associated with the Ukraine, it is widely practiced throughout Central and Eastern Europe.

Experimented this morning with my flash. I can never get them to fire dependably and worked and worked and finally got it going. I try to limit my photo time to when my daughter is sleeping but she woke up and I decided to let her help me try to make splash photos. I didn't have my settings correct to get sharp splash images but I really liked this shot where she is poised to drop the clementine. I think I needed my black flags on the sides to define the jar or perhaps I have really just overexposed everything, not experience enough to know. Thoughts?

Pulled into this business property to get a line shot, and before I could get back in the car, security was there to say get off...sign says no trespassing...ooops, my bad. I left but kept the frame. Sign, Sign everywhere a sign, do this and don't do that ☺️
An Assassin’s Creed build.
As part of our collaboration for the ComicCon Germany Stuttgart this year I built this diorama, which is inspired by the game Assassin’s Creed Black Flag. I already showed you my passion for the AC games last year, but with this build I could finally play with another theme as well that I hadn’t built much for until now: Pirates
Once again I have to thank Jonas for helping me at some details here and there.

The second and possible final version of the infamous Edward James Kenway. I decided to leave out the hood for now because in the game he doesn't wear it most of the time, and nothing has changed on it since my last version.
Everything that has been added is custom sculpt. The hairpiece is a modified William Turner hairpiece.

Black Flag outside the Hot Klub Dallas Texas 1981. Taken by the dude from Zorlac skate boards Jeff Phillips. I think he is dead now? Greg Ginn, Emil (twisted roots), Henry Rollins, Dez Cadenna, Chuck Duwoski.
This little figure has been something i'v been working on for a few days now. I finally got that "worn" look right. I will definatly re-do him later. I forgot to add his blowpipe. That'll be for the next version! :)
Arms, torso and hood are custom sculpt, the belts are paper.
