In Eastgate, Leeds, is Quickstep UOI 4323. This was a Volvo B10M-61 that was new to Bristow of Hull in March 1982 as BKH 129X, and originally carried a Van Hool C48Ft body. It was rebodied by East Lancs as a B57F bus in 12/1993 for Rhodes of Yeadon, passing to Quickstep in March 1994.

Amsterdam 01-07-2019. Kupers Touringcars, Weert (NL) t/a Air Expressbus 95-BKH-1 (356), VDL Futura FMD2 135/370, 09/2016.

2108 was a recent addition to the Bristol Omnibus fleet, having come from East Yorkshire Motor Services as BKH 923K. There it had carried the EYMS blue coach livery when new, later receiving standard NBC white and red DP livery - so at 12 years old, this was its first time in National Express white !

It is at roughly the half-way point on a northbound 737 journey from Weymouth to Bristol.

Replacing an earlier digital photo with a slightly better version 05-Jan-23. My original is missing from the file so I've just had to smooth out some of the pixilation's on the one I'd uploaded previously.

This aircraft was delivered to ILFC International Lease Finance Corporation and leased to Malaysia Airlines as 9M-MJA in Mar-90. It was returned to the lessor in Feb-94.

It was leased to Braathens S.A.F.E (Norway) as LN-BUB in Mar-94 and returned to the lessor in Nov-96. The aircraft was leased to Carnival Airlines (USA) as N407KW later the same month. Carnival was merged into the second version (I think) of Pan Am, Pan American World Airlines in Oct-97 and returned to the lessor in Mar-98.

The aircraft was leased to Olympic Airways as SX-BKH in Jun-98. They continually lost money and ceased operations in Dec-03. They re-opened the following day as Olympic Airlines with more backing from the Greek Government.

At the insistence of the EU, the Greek Government had to stop bailing the airline out and Olympic Airlines ceased operations at the end of Sep-09, and on 01-Oct-09 Olympic Air was born!

This aircraft didn't make the cut and was stored at Athens before being returned to the lessor in Dec-09 and stored at Shannon (Ireland). The registration D-ALAC was reserved by ILFC but wasn't used and it became EI-ELW with Boeing Capital Leasing in Apr-10.

In Aug-10 the aircraft was transferred to BCC Equipment Leasing as N790BC and ferried to Roswell, NM, USA for continued storage. It was sold to AerSale Inc in Sep-10 and was permanently retired at Roswell. It was eventually broken up at Roswell and the registration was cancelled in Jul-17. Updated 05-Jan-23.
