He is a mellowed social activist and have organized advocacy over a wide array of political, social and economical issues with prudence over national interest first.
Sardar. Grewal have been a voice of farmers and farm labourers. He spearheaded the agitation to prevent United States of America to Patent Basmati, Neem and other “Swadeshi Products” and played an important role in blocking their malicious endeavors. He took over the cause of his very own farming community and presented their plight to the Centre Government and was instrumental in MSP hike during NDA regime. He also stood by the farmers over SEZ issue and organized activism over acquisition of fertile agriculture land on the name of Industrialization by the then Congress led Punjab Government hand in glove with “Land Mafia”. He was first to raise the issue of farmer suicides in Punjab and helped the affected families in getting compensation from the Punjab Government. These days, Sardar. Grewal have been organizing advocacy over agriculture reforms.
Sardar. Grewal has been a youth icon and unfurled the flag of BJP when Punjab was at the peak of terrorism and organized village level meetings to garner support against terrorism. When terrorism was in its last breaths in Punjab, he gauged that Pakistan has conspired to ruin the youth by supplying huge cache of drugs. Considering the malicious intentions of the evil neighbour, Sardar. Grewal, launched a campaign against “Drug Addiction” and planned “Drugs De-addiction Camps” all over Punjab. He further constituted Non Government Organizations and arranged grants to promote sports amongst rural youth to keep them aloof from drugs. He lobbied to commission a Petroleum Refinery in Punjab during NDA regime to generate employment and was the only politician from BJP to take over Congress Chief Minister Amarinder Singh.
Sardar. Grewal is a staunch anti-terrorism activist. He took over Congress Government over construction of memorials of terrorists, lobbied for federal integrated counter-terrorism strategy to deal with terrorism, supported enactment of stringent anti-terrorism law and exposed ignorance of UPA Government over Cyber Terrorism. Sardar. Grewal is a firm Nationalist and he is known for his stand against separatists. He was first to expose that UPA Government sold Kashmir peace to remain in power and foremost in announcing that Shri Amarnath Shrine Board Land agitation is a pro- Nationalist and Anti-Separatist agitation. He took over PDP, APHC and NC Leadership for inciting communal tension in Jammu and Kashmir and actively took the cause of Kashmiri Pandits taking refuge in their own country. Sardar. Grewal took over the challenge of Congress Leadership on Nuclear Deal by posing several questions, which even today remain unanswered. He went on to dub Nuclear Deal as “Bofors Sequel” and corroborated his stand by citing several statements of National Security Advisor, Congress Government and US Government Leadership.

Sardar. Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal (Advocate and Numberdar) have been a familiar face and a household name in Punjab especially in rural areas.

Denmark ( Copenhagen ) 20 February 2015 :
Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) cited the healthy trade ties with which Denmark has been a good cooperation partner for India in the EU. National Secretary BJP Kisan Morcha and Prabhari Himachal Pradesh, Advocate Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal who is on a European Tour of Denmark, Italy and Norway landed here in Denmark and immediately presided over a huge gathering of Indians and Bharatiya Janata Party Denmark wing. He thanked everybody for this wonderful reception. Grewal praised the beautiful country of Denmark for providing such great working atmosphere for Indians immigrants who are living happily in the country. It is known that Some 7,000 Indians live in Denmark and the number is growing as Denmark has introduced an attractive Green Card system. Grewal was impressed by the living standards maintained by the country as it is known as the happiest country in the world .Denmark also ranks as having the world's highest social mobility, a high level of income equality, and has one of the world’s highest per capita incomes. For 2013, Denmark is listed 15th on the Human Development Index and 9th on the inequality-adjusted HDI. He added there is so much for India to learn from Denmark and the positives from the society and governance can surely prove good for India too.
India’s relations with Denmark have been frozen since 2011 following the Danish High Court ruling against the extradition of Kim Davies in connection with the Purulia arms drop incident of 1995. In a rare display of anger, India then run by the UPA goverment then chaired by Ms Sonia Gandhi froze senior official-level contacts with Denmark, and later tightened visa procedures for Danish tourists and businessmen. Grewal questioned the illogical step taken by the UPA goverment and It is timely to reassess the situation and ask whether it meets our vital interests or not.
Grewal added that there are some diplomatic tensions arisen between the two countries because of a single person, discussing this further Grewal questioned the Danish goverment stance on not letting India interrogate Kim Davies in connection with the Purulia arms drop incident of 1995. He said a terrorist has no religion,he represents no country and the laws are same for all the terrorist all around the world. Grewal urged his Danish counterparts to allow Kim Davies to be interrogated and this will also unveil some other players and institutions involved in puralia arms drop case . He also stressed that the rights of the Kim Davies will not be violated and his integrity won't be harmed till the time he is not proven guilty. He said denmark have taken a step towards reviving diplomatic friendship as India got admitted as a permanent observer to the Arctic Council along with China, Italy, South Korea, Japan and Singapore. This will enable India to participate in developing the resources of the Arctic. The decision required the consent of the ‘Arctic eight’ consisting of Canada, Denmark, Sweden, Iceland, Norway, Finland, Russia and the US. Denmark, which could very well have stalled India’s application citing bilateral issues, did not do so. He is hopeful Danish goverment will not disappoint in India's pursuit of Kim Davies also.
Grewal also cited the healthy trade ties with which Denmark has been a good cooperation partner for India in the EU. It has espoused a liberal trading system and is open to service trade liberalisation. Trade has gone up to $1.2 billion in 2011 from $500 million in 2003, with surplus in India’s favour. Trade in services is also substantial, around $1.5 billion in 2012. FDI of $780 million came in 2011 from Denmark. Though the trade between the two countries have been steady over the few years but showing signs of political optimism Grewal announced that the working conditions in India are way better as compared to the previous UPA regime and now the prime ministers visionary goverment have restored the investors confidence in India.
Grewal said that the United Nations also declared June 21 as the World Yoga Day. The decision, taken at the UN General Assembly, is being seen as a proud moment for India. Talking with the media persons after BJP workers meeting here today Grewal stated that our Hon'ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi had urged the world community to celebrate Indian yoga at the international level during his visit to the United Nations in September this year. Grewal told here that India received support of 170 nations and United Nations declare June 21 as the World Yoga Day. He stated that in their speech at the UNGA, Hon'ble Prime Minister of India Shri Narendra Modi had said, "Let us work towards adopting an International Yoga Day. Yoga is an invaluable gift of our ancient tradition. It is not about exercise but to discover the sense of oneness with yourself, the world and the nature." He told that around 170 nations supported PM Modi's proposal. In November, European Union President Mr. Herman Van Rompuy told Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi that the 28 member EU supported his idea for a Yoga Day at the UN. Grewal said that about four months ago, Hon'ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi had appealed to the world community that India's yoga should be celebrated as World Yoga Day. Grewal said that I am happy to inform you that India have received support of 170 nations and the United Nations will declare June 21 as the World Yoga Day". Grewal told that Yoga is the 5000 years old Indian physical, mental and spiritual practice that aims to transform body and mind for good health. In this meeting with the party workers of Bharatiya Janata party (BJP) and people of Indian origin Grewal firstly thanked everyone for inviting him to this historical country. KHATKAR KALAN is a historical village which has got the honour of being the village of the famous patriots and freedom fighters like Sardar Kishan Singh, Sardar Ajit Singh, Sardar Swaran Singh, Shaheed-e-Azam Sardar Bhagat Singh. In this article the memories of Sardar Ajit Singh, when he came home after imprisonment of 40 years, are reproduced here as he expressed them in his writing.
"My Village Khatkar Kalan comes under station Banga. This village is well known because of its special features."
"This place was known as a fortress. It was related with a feudal chief. There were other fortresses attached to it but they were small as compared to it. That's why they were known as Garh Khurd. My birth place was known as Garh Kalan."
"One of my forefathers started from his village "Narli" in Lahore District during Mughal period to go to "Haridwar". His purpose to go there because he was to throw the ashes of someone from his family member in river "Ganga". The journey was long. In his way he took shelter in a fortress. The owner of the fortress was a kind hearted person. He welcomed that stranger. He was a young person. He also invited him to have meals with him and his family. The owner had a wife and a beautiful daughter. When they were eating food the young man and the daughter of the owner of the fortress got attracted towards each other. The girl expressed her desire to marry the man. Her parent had also selected the person as their would be Son-In-Law. Next morning when the young man was about to go the owner asked him if he was married. The young man said to him "Not yet.". At this the owner of the fortress invited him to be his guest for the second time. He bade Good Bye to them and started his journey again.
After throwing the ashes in Ganga the young man came back to that fortress so that he could marry the girl. The fortress was already decorated by the owner of it and they were waiting for the young man to come. They wanted to give the fortress as a marriage gift to their Son-In-Law. The young man and the daughter of the owner of the fortress got married and the fortress was given to them. After their marriage this place was called Khatkar Kalan. The owner and his wife started living in that fortress as the guest of their Son-In-law.
Thus from their couple started one family. Time changed and the walls for the fortress fell down. During rainy season the deep dug places around the fortress changed into pools. Today people have great benefits of these pools and they use these pools for bathing and other places."
Family Background
The elders of the family used to sit in "DARBAR" a place to do the justice to the people of the village. Even today this place is called "Deewan Khana". Even before the rule of Maharaja Ranjit Singh one family used to live like that and were known as "Jagirdaars" and they also used to send a fixed number of soldiers to the emperor.
"Our forefather used to unfurl the National Flag of Sikhs, four time in a year. The place where this flag was unfurled was known as "Jhanda Ji". It was due to the love of this place that our forefathers refused to go back to their native village, when some people who had come from there asked to go with them."
"After the death of Maharaja Ranjit Singh british officials started suppressing the people. As a result people took arms in their hands to protect them. Our family members also joined hands with them. Due to this our "Jagir" was redused by the british Govt. When Govt. asked for help from my grand father, against the rebellious people, he refused to do so."
"I was a small child then. When one day I went with my grandfather towards our fields, When we were coming back I asked my grandfather about the 1857 insurrection. I had heard a lot about it. I asked my grandfather about the cause of failure of this insurrection. He answered that british were successful only because they got assistance from the "Jagirdars" of Punjab. After listening this story I was quite curious to see the british people, who ruled our country because I had never saw them. Once I requested my uncle Surjon Singh take me with him as he was going to meet a british officer. I saw my uncle saluting a british officer who was quite younger than my uncle and even was not able to speak our language in a proper way. I laughed at his gesture. My uncle stopped me. He introduced me as his nephew. The officer for annoyed as I had not saluted him and then he sat on his horse saying "Ham Nawan Shahr jane ko mangta hai; tumko lot sakta hai" and he left. I and my uncle came back Home. My uncle was angry with me as I didn’t saluted the "Sahib". I asked my uncle that I did not like that man who was not able to speak well and was looking like an idiot. MY uncle decided that in future he would never take me with him when he would go to meet any british officer. From this incident I came to a conclusion that all the british officer are idiots and I would never call them Sahibs or salute them."
"I was a small child then when along with my elder brother I visited Anandpur Sahib to be a sikh. I remember that were given sweet water (Amrit) and told about the principles of sikh religion. This ceremony teaches a person that one who becomes a sikh is never afraid of death and fight against those who do a injustice. He protects and helps the poor, weak and also womens, old etc.. From that day when a person becomes a sikh his mind and soul becomes pure. That's why Sikhs are called Khalsa, Which means pure."

From this incident I came to a conclusion that all the british officer are idiots and I would never call them Sahibs or salute them."

Denmark , Copenhagen : 21 February 2015 -
Denmark is providing such great working atmosphere for Indian immigrants who are living happily in the country. At this time Shri Ramesh Kumar Bhardwaj Copenhagen, Shri Mangat Ram Sharma, Shri Satish Kumar Joshi Italy, Sr. Jatinderpal Singh, Shri Vaishiv Soni , Shri Rajesh Kumar Sharma, Shri Abneet Dhir Sonu, Shri Aman Sharma, Shri Sushant Bhardwaj and other BJP workers we're also present.
Mohali - 18 November 2013
BJP National Secretary Kisan Morcha and in-charge of party affairs, Himachal Pradesh Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal said people of the country had made their mind to elect Narinder Modi-led NDA government in the 2014 general elections to get rid of the scandal-laden UPA government.
Talking with the media persons here today Grewal added that the UPA government had given nothing to the nation except poverty, unemployment, inflation, corruption and scandals.
"Congress-led UPA government had proved a failure on all fronts and people will dethrone them in the coming general elections,"he said.
The BJP leader expressed concern over the reports of Punjab Pradesh Congress Committee (PPCC) president Partap Singh Bajwa following the footsteps of Robert Vadera regarding purchasing government lands.
Grewal demanded that Punjab government should hold a thorough probe into the land deals of Bajwa, his younger brother Fateh Jung Singh Bajwa and his sister-in law.
He said most of the ministers of Manmohan Singh cabinet were involved in various scams and they would not be able to face the masses before the parliamentary elections. He claimed that the people wanted a change in the government at the Centre. "The SAD-BJP alliance will win all the 13 Lok Sabha seats in Punjab in the upcoming general polls,"he added.

SGB Children's Home was established under the patronage of Swami Shankera Nand jee Bhuriwale. An experienced social worker in the field of child care, Jagdeep Singh provided vital inputs to bring up this wonderful organization. SGB Children's Home provides long term care to orphan/abandoned children.
Jagdeep Singh worked with SOS Children's Villages before coming to assist in setting up the SGB Children's Home. He played a key role in setting up SOS Children's Villages in Punjab (Rajpura, for children affected by a long spell of social disturbance in Punjab) and in Gujarat (for children rendered homeless by a devastating earthquake in January 2001). The ideology of the SGB Children's Home is based on a sacred principle that every child has right to live and grow in a family. A group of 7-8 children live under care of a dedicated woman who has devoted her life for the cause of needy children. A major part of the organization work is shared by Bibi Jasbir Kaur, Mr. Kuldip Singh and Ms. Ramanjot Kaur.
SGB International Organization, the parent institution of the SGB Children's Home is a recognized and authorized agency by the State and Central governments forn both In-country and inter-country adoption of children.
This organization also runs a grade 12 level school, St. Kabir Academy, recognized by the Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Focus of this school is primarily to provide education to rural children who would otherwise find difficult to get access to quality education.

National Secretary BJP Kisan Morcha Sukhminderpal Singh Grewal lashes out at Congress party saying that it sees no reason why a mere apology by Tarun Tejpal and stepping down for 6 months from the post of Editor-in-chief be accepted as sufficient. Grewal in fact held the Congress party responsible for trying to protect Tarun Tejpal by putting up a fake action. Grewal said everybody is shocked and horrified at the latest revelations about acts of criminality by Teheleka Editor-in-chief Tarun Tejpal. In a press statement here today, he said that it is ironical that at a time when a state was being questioned for giving protection to a woman when her family sought protection and she was in complete knowledge of the same a woman journalist is being denied any help by the Congress or the authorities like the NCW and the Press Council of India. Grewal said that there are the two situations involving two women cannot be compared the morality of the Congress and its surrogates can be questioned in handling the two situations. He said that the flip-flop of NCW and the Congress party on all such issues involving women is condemnable. He said when a young journalist who happens to be daughter of a senior journalist is seeking redressal of an abhorrent crime admittedly perpetrated by the Editor-in-chief himself some sections of the media choose to ignore her plea brushing the entire issue under the carpet. Grewal said that it comes as a disturbing fact is that some of the media houses were busy writing and organizing a campaign to harm the reputation of an innocent victim who had sought protection to protect her honour and dignity at a time she was well-settled in her married life and pleaded for anonymity. He said that clearly it seems to be a case of political vendetta to settle scores by side stepping the key issues like governance and corruption and scams. Grewal said that if the Congress party points a finger on the Gujarat Government for having provided security to a woman to protect her from such crimes. He said why has it remained silent on the 9 MLA' S in Rajasthan who are facing serious charges like rape, murder, and sexual assault. He said that the cases relating to Rajasthan Ministers like Parasnath Maderna have failed to elicit a response from either the Congress party or its surrogates. Grewal said that the conduct of Tarun Tejpal falls under the category of rape as per the amended law in 2013, Sexual assault of this nature would fall within the definition of rape under Section 375 of the IPC. Grewal said that the letter from the girl in question to Shoma Chaudhary, Managing Editor of Tehelka, clearly brings out the trauma which she suffered at the hands of Tarun Tejpal, owner and Editor of Tehelka. Grewal said that Tejpal, through his atonement letter has sought the paid holiday of 6 months by recusing himself from the Editorship of magazine, Can atonement for a criminal act like this be granted. He said if it is granted, it should take place within the jail premises. Grewal said even though Tarun Tejpal has admitted to having committed the crime sending him away from Tehelka is not a befitting punishment at all considering the serious nature and assault on his own woman staffer. Grewal said in the end, while the dignified ladies from the Congress party were anointing themselves as a guardian to a woman who sought anonymity, sensationalizing her ordeal, dragging her in the newspapers and TV channels, a serious crime, admittedly perpetrated by a senior Editor-in-chief is being ignored by the Congress party. The least they can do is to demand registration of a criminal case against Tarun Tejpal. He said that the woman journalist in Tehelka in her e-mail to Shoma Chaudhary has revealed the perverse criminal behaviour and nature. He said that the issue needs to be taken to a logical conclusion so that such acts do not recur in future. Will Tehelka answer if a mechanism to prevent sexual harassment at work place, in keeping with the legal provisions, was put in place in their media organisation. He said that Tarun Tejpal has been accused of sexually assaulting a junior journalist during the think festival in Goa. Chief Minister Goa Manohar Parrikar has already ordered a probe and the police may summon Tarun Tejpal for trial under criminal offences.
