In the picture it is not appreciated, but it has a iridescent metallic effect that changes color when you move the piece, but once again, I have been unable to make it appreciate in my picture 😅

I had totally mixed feelings for this doll, I wasn't sure about the faceup while painting her, yet I decided to go with the flow. I had her in mind as an ethereal red-blonde, but she rebelled to this idea and I have a strong readhead instead :D

She needs a red wig, though she's pretty even now!

This is a quite special commission. In fact I do not accept to do faceups without a skin effect. I really really reaaaaaaally dislike making nice shading for blush and so on.

But making a new faceup for this specific doll was my birthday gift to a friend of mine.

So... that's way I did such a faceup.

I must admit that I love painting scales as much as I dislike making blush shading!

I still need to finish the manicure and the bust blush.

jnhotboy sent me a few dolly bdies, including a MC2 Bryden thta I realized matched this Janay head so much better than the body she'd been using! (I might stil ltry to figure out a good way to give her Barbie legs, for various reasons...)
