Can't get too close with this lens

4/6

bits and pieces via shop66, etsy, ebay , also some super cute chairs (15 in fact!) through the lovely Renee (reyney) and an amazing felted squirrel made by Linda (feltedfolksies999).

I got this bit set which I rarely use, but it is nice when I need them.

Little bits of the homewares collection I did earlier this year via HMS Carousel for Urban Outfitters are beginning to trickle into stores for the holidays!

Also available online!

Also coming soon: wall hangings, end tables, cute ceramic kitchen canisters and more! Yay!

It was also kind of a perfect way to revive this ill-fated series of PA dutch inspired tee graphics from a few years ago! Ha!

. . . but I saved a spot for you :)

Bit worried about the recoil on this one. Better make sure the brakes are on!

So many tiny bits of beauty so easily overlooked,

people see the burrs and eschew the plant entirely,

going so far as to call it a weed;

but I know better, there is beauty everywhere you look,

especially in nature --

nature's simple scheme, little wasted, nothing superfluous,

everything has function, and form is built for a purpose --

A work of art in every tiny flower

Well he looks close to me!!!

Bit late publishing this evening, as we introduced my nephews to Trivial Pursuit........ with some outrageous clues everyone had at least one piece of pie by the end.

From a vantage point near the Maritime Museum and Canning Dock I used my long lens to capture this assortment of buildings and dock works looking north to the Three Graces.

A 8-bit image of the local channel Telefriuli's teletext, photo captured from the TV on a boring rainy afternoon!

A bit of fresh colour, my stream's been looking a little dour lately.

Cricket on Spiderwort shot at life size (1=1). This cricket is only 4mm long. This required a lens change and a good amount of bellows extension.

Bit of snow this morning. A sunny, warm week starts tomorrow, and this will all soon be gone. At least so we hope.
