When Lucas was a teething kitten, we gave him milkshake straws to keep him from biting all our exposed body parts.
At age 3, he still loves to bite straws. He also still loves to bite me, but he's so gentle that I like to think he does it out of adoration.
...twice I'll check under the toilet seat for anything that will make any part of me swell up like this again.
A few hours after I took this, a red line started tracking up my arm. Cue a late-night trip to the hospital and a week on antibiotics. Thanks, nature!

Love Bites is a full length theatrical production comprised of monologues (and 3 poems) about love and passion in all their glorious, dark, hilarious, wholesome and frightening forms.
