For the background stamping challenge.

'life is SWEETER when shared with friends' - This is great sentiment and the combination of the 2 fonts are quite pretty, so I like it a lot.

From a point of view, 'Food chain', I know it's so strange that the owl and the mouse are together... But I dare to take them to be the characters for this card.

The result of my card was a little childish. But I like this image.

I did faux stitches partly like quilting lines around the applique quilt.

Used the Grid Pattern stamp for the sky, and I wanted to express a calm sea to use the Wood Finish stamp at the bottom of this card. But it was a little different from the result that I expected to by my poor technique.

This is for layers challenge. I used an owl stamp from What a Hoot set.

And, this time I used my cuttlebug machine and CB's embossing folders for a long interval. (Maybe I didn't use CB over a year. Haha...)

Embossed paper was colored with VersaMagic inks (cloud white, aegean blue, and wheat).

For the challenge.

I have many favorites among the Heroarts' stamps. I featured this time 'Birds N Branch' and 'Old French Writing' which I use them many times lately.

This card design and one more design are easy to make, so I use these for friends, family, relatives, co-workers etc.

Old French Writing stamp was stamped with Shadow Ink Soft Stone, because I wanted to add a little nuance using light color ink.

Put a black gemstone a little off-set on a tiny punch-out circle (on a black flower), like googly eyes. I intend this to be bird's eye. Haha...

I was inspired by the Tuesday Trigger at Moxie Fab World and by Lucy's monochromatic challenge so I came up with this white, cream and tan card.

The bird is a no-name stamp that I think I picked up really cheap. The branches are cut from the HA Bird N Branch Design Block. The background is Old Letter Writing and the sentiment is from the Card Messages set.

For the challenge. I decided to tag this "friendship". 'Cause I love this stamp and friendship's sentiments, this was made for sketch challenge in the past originally, though.

This slider card was made after watching Ms. Jennifer McGuire's HA blog video on Dec.17, 2008.

Stamped a Design Block stamp and a Background stamp with chalk inks, a sentiment with Versacraft (for fabric) on a kahki green ribbon.

I used a crayon resist technique I found on the HA website. I was trying to use this Birds N Branches Design Block in different ways.

This egg shaped card shows several birds, "Going on an egg hunt..." The inside finds a little bird with a big egg. The speech bubble says, "Gonna find a BIG one!"

The background of the egg is stamped with CG119 (flourish background). The larger bird is CM002 (Stamp it Critters). The smaller birds are from LP134 (birds n' branches). The text is CL123 (Whimsical Alphabet). I also used the zero from this set to make the small Easter eggs that are hidden in the grass. The grass is CL379 (Stamp a Garden) and the speech bubble is CL266 (Mix and Match).
