taken from my van today it was low and close and i could not believe my luck when it stayed hovering as i stopped and started taking shots

This beautiful bird was in the falconry centre at Leeds Castle. The background wasn’t great so I used some textures to hide it.

Shore Eared Owl Lunt Meadows Merseyside

This Barred Owl was active hunting earlier and then got to its favourite perch for a well deserved rest.

Cette chouette rayée était active à la chasse plus tôt mais a décidé de rejoindre son perchoir préféré pour une période de repos bien mérité.

seen this fly before but the first time i have managed to get a shot at this location

just spotted this hop back into the tree

The Sparrowhawk came in just as the Sun was setting so was very limited in terms of shutter speed. The light was fading fast.

A fish-eating bird of prey from South East Asia. It dives quickly from a hunting perch close to the water body to catch fishes near water surface. Singapore, Jun 2019.

got lucky with this one it flew off the road and landed in a field quite close then flew across me rather than away

it was a hard job picking these up flying low across the grass but i did manage a few

one more of the buzzard before i sort out todays shots

looks nice with the water behind the kestrel

in the rain missed all this week getting out in the lovely sunshine due to taking on a bit of work for three weeks but it has give me time to catch up a little with my photos on flickr
