The local chickadee ate the few remaining seeds in a red birdhouse hanging in the woods near my home in winter.

(Sometimes I just want to flop in a pixel beach chair and listen to this over and over...)

Just messing around trying to take pictures again...

This is another birdhouse on a fence post on the road to the cottage. They are so hard to get because of all the reeds and the actual location of the fence itself. My first post is in the comment. HFF Folks!

Birds need a little home sometimes. Good luck to the birds.

Here is one in the forest around the lake. A home in the forest!

Anyone else experiencing a drop in activity on Flickr? The last 3 photos that I have posted have about 5% of the usual views and faves that would have normally accrued by now. The STATS page tells the story. Not that it really matters but - it does make me wonder if they have changed some algorithm or some such?

It seems we have a new species of 'bird' occupying one of our birdhouses here at Keefer Lake?

A third in in the series of woodland views.

Not even March yet and look at all of the green. The Bluebirds are flying about and thought it was time to put out the Bluebird houses.

This little birdhouse is hanging on my back porch - the side of it opens and there are four baby birds - they are still really small - I hope to gets some good shots before they fly away - you can see the mother bird coming out of the birdhouse. This is a really small bird - I'm not sure what kind it is. Hope you have a wonderful Tuesday, dear friends ;) ! ~
