Made for the #biocup2018.
That's right, Nick Bluetooth teleported to the Bionicle universe where he glinched into a toa of gravity. He killed his entire family and all his friends and pissed off the rest of Galidor by cheating in billiards and decided to make a new life for himself elsewhere. Unfortunately for him, the inhabitants of the Bionicle universe take billiards just as seriously.
I'm really liking how this moc is turning out. Emphasis on -ing. I rushed it for the contest but I'll come back to it, hopefully before brickfair, to fix the crotch and lower legs. It's not done. I'll post it pubilc everywhere when it's done :)
This demon of shadow lurks within the pits and crevasses that adventurers dare not enter. It must consume pure gold to sustain its form, ransacking camps and stashes to steal the precious metal within. Hoarders and heroes alike fear its name!

My entry for round 2 of biocup 2018. The theme was Dia de Los Muertos so I made a little living dead band to celebrate!

He'll set people ablaze to read the word of God in the flames. Too bad for the rest of the population his "god" keeps telling him to burn more people.
This moc was built for the preliminatory round of the 2018 Bio-cup. The theme was elements so I decided to personify the element of fire in a flamethrower weilding crazy person wearing a hazmat suit with gas mask.
The flamethrower was based on this image.

Heavily referenced the 'Nindroid' Minifigures, where I pretty much tried to jam in as many of their iconic features as I could.

The laziest entry I've ever done for a contest. The shame is unbearable.
Made in a couple hours as a Bio-cup entry for the eliminatories.

For the Bio-Cup 2018 preliminary round.
The theme was "Elements." I chose Element 32506, Bionicle Claw with Axle.
"Euclid's Elements is certainly one of the greatest books ever written, and one of the most perfect monuments of the Greek intellect."
Bertrand Russell, A History of Western Philosophy, p. 211
My entry in the preliminary round of the 2018 Bio-Cup, of course! I was set from the start on offering something entirely original. After a days or two muddling through various unsatisfying 'elements' from alchemy, technology, and science, I suddenly recalled the Greek mathematician Euclid's authorship of the landmark geometry textbook entitled Elements, and knew I would depict him. In a Bionicle twist, he now wields Geometry powers in addition to his trademark compass and straightedge! I look forward to your thoughts, hope you enjoy, and wish my fellow participants good luck in the Bio-Cup!
My entry for the 2018 BioCup preliminaries - Makuta, as he appears in the 2001 Mata Nui Online Game.
I honestly have no idea how this is going to be received, but my thought process went something like this:
"Hey, elements, that's a really broad category. Shadow's an element. Y'know, destruction is an element, hey isn't it weird how Lego pieces are officially called 'elements'?"
Thus, the swirling mess of thoughts in my head turned into the swirling mess of parts that Makuta appeared as, representing elements as the mass of Lego elements, the element of destruction that Makuta embodied in 2001, and the element of Shadow that Makuta came to be known with.
Hopefully people like it.
See if you can spot the Kraahkan, and Makuta's pulled-apart Matoran form

Built for the Biocup 2018 preliminaries. The elemental themes represented are gold and time.
On one side, a deep-sea DIver Drone, programmed to explore and fight off the beats of the deep. On the other, a ferocious Lobster Guardian, his right arm replaced by that of a stone Guardian Beast who failed to protetc it's Key. Who will win over the control of Atlantis' secrets?
My entry for Round 1 of the 2018 Bio-Cup. Theme being Atlantis. Originally it was just gonna be the lobster monster, but I felt it was needing a little extra humpf so there's where the diver comes in. Not my best work, but still happier than antecipated with it.
From the side, we can see that the build is pretty cluttered and not perfect. Still, I'm hoping it goes down well.
This robot was designed by the Mars Mission team to help with the geology division, forging a path through the arduous Martian terrain in search of energy crystals. The geology team consisted of a bunch of nerdy scientists, who wanted to name the machine after a distant star formation. The weapons division refused to arm the mech until they chose a cooler name. The geologists settled on Titan, after one of Saturn's moons. The weapons team found this vaguely fearsome, and the machine was christened.

Happy 4th of July, America!
Okay, it's a little late, but that's because this is my entry in Round 2 of the 2018 Biocup, my theme the holiday Independence Day. It doesn't exactly depict my typical July 4th celebration, but when I got the theme I just felt right away that nothing says patriotic celebration quite like an eagle painted to look like a flag. I was hoping to test myself at extravagant wings this summer anyways, so this was actually a really fortunate theme for me. I'd love to hear how I did, and hope you enjoy!
My entry to the Bio-Cup 2018 preliminaries. The theme for the competition is elements and, like the name suggests, the element of this entry is air/wind.

Edit: In explore? Oh yippee...
This is my entry for the 1st round of the #Biocup2018
It is a M-Tron mining machine, with the classic Red- Green- Black M-Tron colors for vehicles.
I wanted to build a big Drilling machine for the M-Tron guys since they where Miners but never had any mining gear in the sets.
Please take a look at the album for more details: www.flickr.com/photos/152408408@N08/albums/72157698871286025
I have no idea whether this will go down well or not, because ultimately the build is very simple and is basically just a slew of pieces threaded onto flex tubes.
Oh well, I like it, and I think it's somewhat creative.

Spider Girl: www.flickr.com/photos/93028248@N08/41136695080/in/datepos...
This is my entry to the Bio-Cup 2018 Preliminaries, the theme of it being elements, which I have chosen earth for mine. With this, I went with a cave, along with a cave spider creature, holding an egg.
While the rule says system should be kept to a minimum, I made a risk of the base using a big amount of system, along with some rock shape elements, and some little spiders and crystal around the cave (especially since I don’t have much of those crystal shall from 2016 and they’re rare to come by).
Sense I wanted to build a cave, I right away wanted to use as much of those gray ultrabuild bones I have, than use some of those black capes to keep the light from not coming out of those many gaps there are, at least as many I could cover.
To add a character to the base, I picked a spider girl; the head is the first of trying to give hair (that wasn’t a metru head) and 4 eyes; I even added a little flower on the side of the hair.

As Holi, the Festival of Colors arrives, the paintmaker starts to work on his sacred craft.
My (very rushed) entry to Round 2 of the 2018 Biocup. As you may have guessed by now, my theme was the indian Holi festival, for which I'm paired against Ever' and Dylan Mievis.

Theme: Agents. In round 1 of 2018 Bio-Cup I chose to focus on a single character - the glowing Octopus.
There's nothing quite like this beautiful piece in Lego. Despite also appearing in a Gear set later, it is unmistakably associated with set 8636. What is more, marbled blue-and-glow-in-the-dark pieces have only appeared once outside of Bionicle - in the form of the Octopus. Set 8636 also introduces my favourite minifigure - the Slime Face.
Too many reasons not to give it a proper tribute! For more pictures, including the glow effect, and if you want to see how it fits with the set, head to Eurobricks! Cheers!
Water dragons are a rare breed among the race of dragons, shy and only appearing in the dark of the night. I first saw her many moons ago whilst i was but a mere child with my father. Being part of the guild which catalogs and study dragon, we have aptly name her Emma :D
My first submission for biocup 2018. The theme for this 1st round is elements and i have chosen water ^^

Bit of a rushed entry to the 2018 Bio-Cup - definitely could've used some less exposed pictures aye.
More-or-less pleased with how the gist of this guy turned out; the anchor and the back would've been my next priority if I weren't scooting in there last hour.
A dog which lives in volcanoes all over. It can expel fire and lava from it's back to create walking grounds for it or to fend off those wanting to harm it.
My entry to the 2018 Bio-Cup Round 2. Theme for this round was holidays, and the subtheme for me was Dia de los Muertos. Inspiration for this build came from sugar skulls, a typical Day of the Dead decoration item in Mexico.
The background is what it is, as I'm about to move and my bricks are all over the place.
Part of my entry to the 2018 Bio-Cup Preliminaries!. Since I've been out of action for a long time, I chose to revive an older character of mine, throwing in her matoran form for good measure. Theme is Elements.
Once a Ce-Matoran living a simple life tending her temple's gardens, Kana was recruited by the Lord of Earth and transformed into a Toa of Elemental Carbon by the mysterious Soulforge. These powers allow her to control soot and smoke, graphite and diamond, even living plants and animals to a degree. Beings all over Spherus Magna seek out this reclusive toa for her ability to heal diseases or create powerful poisons no other being can.
Kana's page on the newly launched Cyclic Plane Wiki can be found here, though be aware it's still very, very much a work in progress; cyclic-plane.wikia.com/wiki/Kana

My entry for the 2018 Bio-Cup's Eliminatories round.
Based off the Platonic element of Æther (aka ether or Quintessence), the pure essence which holds together the celestial bodies and all other elements.
A girl who got lost in the forest at a young age. On the brink of death she was saved by a mythical bird, who not only saved her life but also granted her the power to control the elements of nature and survive in the woods. Using her new found power Melody plays music on her banjo made of water to calm the forces of nature and protect the inhabitants of the forest from any and all harm.

[ Excerpt from the journal of Prof. J. Hector: ]
This wall is all that stands between The Swarm, and the extinction of the human race.
With every assault on our final bastion, our numbers dwindle – yet with every day, like cockroaches their numbers increase exponentially.
Morever, for reasons I cannot comprehend;
These colossal constructs of steel and destruction are growing Faster. Stronger. Smarter.
Because of me.
Yes, I am the reason these things run amock, intent on wiping us off the face of what’s left of this now ruined planet.
My research - my creation – has doomed me as planet Earth’s Destroyer.
But perhaps... could I also be its Saviour?
Yes, I am convinced fighting a plague with another is the only course of action available to us.
If we cannot stop them…
… then we must join them.

Entry to Round 3 of the 2018 Bio-Cup, sub-theme being 'Dystopian Future'.
When I think of the crappiest possible future, 'Attack On Titan' came to mind.
From there, I then wondered:
'How could that sort of scenario get any worse?'
(jokes)
As well as that gateway from the 'Tower of Toa' playset, this utilises the canister lids of Mantax, Atakus, plus the 2004 and 2005 Vladeks from the Knight's Kingdom line.
'Plague Mechs' are of course the brilliant brainchild of Jayfa, who happens to be one of my opponents.
Good luck to him and Grayson, as well as everyone else who made it this far!

I pretty much intended to get the holiday’s highlights and just mash em together:

My entry to the 2018 Bio-Cup Round 1. Theme for this round is fusion, and the subtheme for me was Blacktron/M-Tron.
The walkers are large, rhino-like space animals that have been heavily modified by Blacktron to carry out various tasks, in this case land-based military duties.
I was thinking about building a more "traditional" Blacktron mech or spaceship, but that didn't sound very original so I thought that wouldn't it be cool to build an animal with a spacestation on it's back?
"Was this the end of his reign? After all the Matoran that had suffered at his hands, all the nightmares that plagued the inhabitants of this universe, Karzahni's last breath was to be of mutagenic water, Lesovikk's air blade deep within his chest. But no, the Mask of Life wasn't finished with him yet. There was a swirl of mud and wreckage, and when the demon opened his eyes again, he found himself stronger than ever."
Vikings was a fun theme to work with. It actually used a surprising amount of Bionicle parts including the Rahkshi backs and Bohrok shields I had to integrate into the build. I figured everyone else would be building vikings and dragons, so I tried to take on a sea monster, and somehow along the line it turned into a resurrected viking warlord Karzahni. Not that I'm complaining.
