The Binnenhof Fountain is a fountain located in the Binnenhof Palace in The Hague. It was designed by Pierre Cuypers. The gilded statue of William II (Count of Holland) atop the fountain was designed by Ludwig Jünger. Since the Binnenhof complex is government-owned, it is one of the fountains in The Hague located on publicly accessible land managed not by the municipality but by the Rijksvastgoedbedrijf (central government real estate agency).
The Knights' Hall is the medieval reception hall of the Count's Castle in the middle of the Binnenhof Palace in The Hague. The Knights' Hall is used for ceremonial state gatherings, including the delivery of the annual Speech from the Throne.

I met this group of kids right near the main gate to Binnenhof. They attracted my attention because they look to me like a pattern of mankind. Netherlands always was setting an example of national tolerance and these kids of different nations, colors of the skin, they all are together, showing real diversity and unity in a same time, they all know nothing about the words like racism or national hatred...
I came closer and asked: “Are you here to meet the Queen?” Somebody from them said: “No, she doesn’t live here, she is probably in Nordeinde” And they all together pointed where is that place...

This photo was made in The Hague.
On the left in the photo the entrance door of the Senate of the States General.
When you enter the Binnenhof through one of the gates you could imagine yourself in the Middle Ages.
The old knight's hall towers high above everything in the middle.
The towers have gold-colored ornaments combined with black and red accents.
The Senate building also has a rich history, although it is younger than the Binnenhof itself.
Based on a design by the well-known sixteenth-century architect Pieter Post.
The First Chamber has been located at the Binnenhof since its establishment.

Due to the fog you couldn't see the high buildings in the background. This is the old skyline of The Hague
Without a doubt, the most striking building on the Binnenhof is the Earls Hall, built in the 13th and 14th centuries as the castle for the Earls of Holland.
The Main Hall, which has been called the Knights’ Hall since the 19th century, dates from the second half of the 13th century. The famous wooden covering was demolished in 1861, however, less than forty years later it was replaced by an exact copy. Since 1904 the Knights’ Hall has been the setting for the reading of the Queen’s speech at the annual opening of Parliament...
The “locals” say that sometimes if you’re lucky, on a court square near Earls Hall can be seen old Guardian of this place. Guess I was lucky... I saw him, but I’m not sure that this beautiful dog could live so long time from 13 century up to now... May be it’s just reincarnation...
