Alter Ego: Suffer

Name: Unknown

Allegiance: Villain

Powers:

* Can manifest small blades, it's unclear if this is just a preference or a limitation

* It's rumoured he can see through his blades

* Seems to be able to manipulate the blades around him possibly because of some sort of magnetism ability

* Enhanced physical attributes

Weapons: Manifested blade(s)

Key Weakness: Due to him being more of a close combat fighter any sort of long range attacks are quite effective against him.

Origin:

Not much is known about Suffer except for the fact he's highly dangerous, does not talk and seems to only go after heroes with weaponry. Apparently many believe he is killing heroes with weapons due to him thinking they are not true heroes by using them and as a result must be killed.

* Advanced winter combat suit to enhance his movement in cold conditions

* Custom helmet with thermal imagery & lenses to prevent snow blindness, it also amplifies his senses.

* Wrist mounted watch that when activated projects a hard light shield.

* The handle of his spear also generates a shaft and tip made from hard light

Key Weakness: He prefers to face his "prey" in winter conditions due to him being more suited to hunting in that climate and it slowing down his victims.

Origin:

Apex was the first prisoner of A.N.G.E.L. to undergo augmentation when West Coast City was "iced over" by 5 Ice-Themed villains.To regain control of the land the corporation decided to alter their most deadly captive assassin to be able to thrive in the harsh terrain and eliminate the enemies, if he failed then he was disposable and they could use the new found surgery to augment their soldiers. Luckily, the procedure was a success and Sabre was ready for his mission, if he survived he'd be granted his freedom. He was sent across the frozen land of Polar Coast, fighting off the criminals who sought refuge in the lawless lands until eventually he came across those responsible, The Polar Brothers. Sabre battled the fierce foes and won but he decided not to kill them, in fact he found he liked the terrain. It reminded him of his homeland. The Polar Brothers made peace and allowed him to stay in their territory as long as he took out any daring heroes foolish enough to try and take back the city. Sabre then agreed to these terms and dawned a new costume and upgraded weaponry designed by the Polar Brothers to help him, not that he needed it.

When A.N.G.E.L. found out about this news, they weren't surprised. They used their perfected augmenting procedure to then enhance 5 of their best female soldiers, to regain the territory. However, they yet have to face off against Apex.

Keezi seen a different way of life though, rather than war he sought peace but was exiled by his people and sent him to Earth as a death sentence due to their reputation for killing aliens. Keezi landed in a foreign region of the Earth where he tried to explain his circumstances but soon realised the problem, his species communicated telepathy with one another and he could not communicate with humans. He was experimented on and tortured for months. This drove Keezi to his primal bloodthirsty nature and he broke out in a rage and fled, he hid and studied Humanity across many different places and found himself in Avalon City but still unable to communicate. He thought perhaps their Meta abundant society housed a meta who could read his mind and explain his situation and he was right, the hero, Dementia. He met with Keezi when he turned himself into the A.N.G.E.L. organisation and read his memories, Dementia befriended Keezi and with much help from experts managed to make him a communicator stored in a piece of armour. Years later he would become the first public alien to be a licensed hero going by the name, Jawtrap, who strives towards world peace. Percy is the leader of the D.E.M.O.N. which handles the dirty work for A.N.G.E.L. but he mainly runs the prison "Lockdown" which is one of the largest prisons in the world. He has a rough demeanour and doesn't see eye to eye with Vigilantes because of their ways of justice and killing enemies. He is responsible for all the inmates and some of the most dangerous criminals on the planet although he is a guilty man himself, he actually is using some of the inmates as his own personal agents to eliminate Meta's who are too dangerous to exist, Vigilantes and even on missions which are too much of a risk for heroes.

They would often perform highly painful experiments on her that would give her enhanced abilities but took its mental toll on her for many years. Overtime she became their prize soldier and trained her with many forms of martial arts and weaponry, she developed an unhealthy relationship into believing T.O.X.I.N was her family that was only trying to help her.

Harper now is an assassin for the corporation but mainly just goes where the day takes her, she has developed an insane fixation on the hero/vigilante "Max" due to him having the same background as her but because of their differences they often battle for days because of their regenerative abilities. She often is called "Vamp" because of her vampire like appearance and also because barely anyone knows her real name.

Alter Ego: Luna

Name: Ted Robinson

Allegiance: Hero

Powers: None

Weapons:

* Metallic staff

* Smoke Pellets and knockout gas

* Kevlar body suit

* Protective earmuffs to defend himself against metas with super sonic screams, he learned his lesson after a run with "Screamo".

Origin:

Teds father died of a terminal illness in the hospital next to his son, who he left all his inheritance money to along with his last words "Make something of yourself." That night Ted looked through the hospital window holding his dead fathers hand staring up at the moon. It was at that moment he realised he would make something of himself and become a hero, putting his inheritance money and bravery to fighting crime. Just like the Moon, Luna comes out at night and hides during the day as a mild mannered worker at a fast food restaurant for cover.

Alter Ego: Dr. Aphrodite

Name: Dr. Helen Apollo

Allegiance: Hero

Powers:

* Can identify any disease that someone has and nullify it with a simple touch and activation of her powers.

Weapons:

* A staff which delivers concussive blows. It also reveals a pink gas that dazes enemies when inhaled and causes them to temporarily fall in love with the first person they see of the sex they are attracted to.

* Her "Heartbreaker" emblem which when pressed against an opponents chest causes intense chest pains. It also restores those that are unconscious or injured back to full health.

Key Weakness: Her doctor instincts is to heal those who are hurt and prevent death, even villains. This leads to some controversy with other heroes. Sometimes even making her an ally to villains which seek her help.

Origin:

Helen is a highly respected doctor who once had her heart broken by her fiancé when she caught him cheating. The betrayal broke her heart and despite her powers found nothing to treat it, that was until she discovered that love was the best medicine to heal. She began tinkering with a chemical formula that when inhaled could intoxicate the user with the "love drug" to mend their broken heart. However, when she was watching the news she watched the usual heroes battling fierce villains and discovered maybe to heal them all they needed was some love...

This led to Helen inventing herself as a hero equipped with her love drug wielding a staff and a backup gadget in case things went awry in the battlefield. She goes by the Greek Goddess of love, Aphrodite but it would be a shame to work that hard for her doctorate and not have it in the name. Which is why she is called, Dr. Aphrodite.

Alter Ego: Mr. Twister

Name: Scott Isaac

Allegiance: Villain

Powers: None

Weapons:

* High tech suit with two high powered "fans" that generate small scale energised twisters. The suit repels the energy the twisters are composed of and can be controlled via motion of the hand, they can also be turned on and off with a click of a button inside the robotic glove they are fixed to.

Key Weakness: The resistance of his suit when generating the tornados puts extreme amounts of pressure on his arms despite his suit so he can only have them activated for up to half an hour before he undergoes crippling intense pain.

Origin:

Scott was once a weatherman for the local "AC News" and was highly popular amongst the public which trusted and relied on him to deliver the weather messages. However one day after reporting the weather forecast being "a hot sunny day" a dreadful twister struck the city during the night leaving hundreds injured, despite heroic attempts some fatalities also took place. Scott knew this was out of the ordinary but with "resigning" from his job and losing all credibility with the public that once trusted him he had nobody to turn to for help. He then decided that he would do some investigating of his own into the events that took place that night which led him to uncover a prototype suit that was being used by various criminals for pulling off heists by causing twisters to occur and looting during the chaos. This made Scott disgusted and he stole the suit, barely escaping with his life in the process. Scott realised if he showed the citizens of Avalon City the suit then he could get his job back and have the faith of the public once again, but he came across quite delusional and the public ridiculed him. This was enough to send Scott over the edge and that it did, in a moment of rage he used the suit to wreak havoc on the public he once pandered to and became the infamous villain, Mr. Twister.

Alter Ego: Kestrel

Name: Patricia Phoenix

Allegiance: Villain

Powers:

* Natural wings which allow her flight, these wings also regenerate and regrow feathers at a rapid rate which allows her to use them as shields.

* Enhance strength, durability and stamina

* Highly advanced speed when in flight

Weapons:

* Two dual blade hoops, these have a small handle which she holds them by and throws. They are extremely sharp and can cut through flesh and bone when airborne, these then return to her with the handle ready to be caught due to it containing magnets which are attracted to her magnetised gloves.

Key Weakness: The palms of her gloves are covered with a thin lined magnet with a strong attraction, this can be awkward when's she's fighting an opponent with metallic weaponry.

Origin:

Patricia was raised with her mother in Atlas City who ran a Vet. Her and her mother used to care for injured animals and strays, but that's not all she looked after... Beneath the mother daughter Vet was an illegal underground hospital which patched up Metas of the animal variety who were either those on the wrong side of the law or could not afford treatment. As Patricia grew up and developed her powers she began to question why her mother would save the lives of convicts but was always told it wasn't up to them to decide who lives and who dies. Her mother was even visited by the hero "Guardian" who was injured after a battle, he knew about what she was doing and warned her of the dangers of the people she was helping but it was in her nature to help those in need. Guardian then as a form of payment started learning Patricia how to use her wings, she looked up to him and her mother as heroes of the same stature. It wasn't long after until Patricia began to follow in the footsteps of her mentor Guardian who began training her to become a hero.

Years later Patricia became a hero known publicly as "Kestrel" due to her hovering over the streets of the city patrolling for crime and her fierce tactical nature. However her career would be short lived as a hero when she would later discover her mother had been hospitalised by former patients that raided her of supplies to create illegal contraband. This put Kestrel over the edge and pushed her out from under the wing of Guardian who aided her in combat. She then proceeded to go on a criminal killing spree and murder those that injured her Mother. Of course this was bad press and Kestrel was viewed in negative limelight as an antihero, it wasn't long until Guardian (the only hero in the city) was forced to bring her in for her actions. However she wasn't going down without a fight and severed his wings (which eventually grew back) with her blades, thus allowing her escape to Avalon City where she would become widely feared by the criminal community.

Alter Ego: Kabuki

Name: Unknown

Allegiance: Hero

Powers:

* Enhanced speed and agility

* Sound manipulation - can mute sounds of her costume fabric and silence her footsteps

Weapons:

* Sword

* Detachable Blades that can magnetise together to resemble a fan

Key Weakness: Relies on ambush attacks using her powers but in direct combat she loses the upper hand.

Origin:

When she was younger Kabuki was raised as a member of the Yakuza where she grew accustomed to violence and the criminal way of life. Things changed though when she was a girl and was talking to the local kids about her gang, which she was so proud of. One of the kids later went home and told their parents who of course called it in, this then led to the police arresting multiple members of the gang.

As a punishment she was forced to witness her mothers death by the blade of their leader. This scarred the young girl for years and she took a vow that she would never speak again until avenging her mother's killer and bring the Yakuza down. She then dawned her mother's Kabuki mask as a reminder of keeping her mouth shut and from then on became a hero taking down the Yakuza.

Good time to binge watch some shows. I wish I invented the term "Binge Watch", everyone seems to do it now.

Ralph's defeat sent his career spiralling down from that day on and he turned to steroids to improve his game which escalated to more extreme measures involving genetic experiments performed by T.O.X.I.N. After months of intense experimentation in the laboratories he became a Metahuman. With word that the power from the P&W Gardner job WOGR outlawed on Friday, I planned for a nice southbound GRWO chase on the branch this morning. Due to several factors out of the crew's control, the run back to Worcester didn't come to fruition before I had to call it a day. Nonetheless, I was still able to squeeze off a couple of shots. Here, 4005-4002-3903 are entering Pan Am's #2 main, where their train of 59 racks and 18 general freight are around the corner awaiting pickup.
