I did a Bat Mitzvah today.. I was surrounded by 13 yr old girls within minutes of setting up, and was steadily busy for abou 4 hours. I love it when I'm busy and making people happy. The music was great (although it did make me think it was too grown up for the crowd, lots of hip hop w/ the sexual undertones.. but alas that is what most of us listen to who listen to top 40ish and hip hop on radio). I dressed in my new fun skirt and wore my bindi, made me feel pretty :)
I heard someone saying, "How agile, muscular, lithe, long, elegant, powerful, soo athletic..."
I sucked in the gut and turned round and said, " Well I used to play a bit of football.."
They were pointing at my dog.
Of course they were, Bindi now is a very unconfident swimmer at the beach, as long as you drag her in and hold her and then let her swim for her life back to the sandy shores of safety.
7/7/08-Remembered I had this old soccer ball hanging out back. Really isn't doing me much good anymore. More of a toy for Bindi
