Bindi was a hand full at first and did not like her crate! She was given
lots of Mellow Mutt treats. Mellow Mutt is an herbal infused chicken jerky
that has a calming effect. As Bindi and 3 of our other larger dogs are very
active when playing in their large grassy backyard, they sometimes come in
with sore joints. We give them all Cosequin DS to help lubricate their
joints. All five dogs love this flavored pill. In order to save our
expensive grassy backyard, all dogs also get Grass Saver which dilutes the
urine so it does not burn the yard. The other supplement we give them is for
a beautiful coat. They really love the Brewers Yeast!
What I love most about Bindi is the way she immediately assumes the
submissive pose. I had never seen a dog do that before and it is so cute.
She reminds me of a meerkat when she lies there on her back with her paws up
:) She is SO CUTE!! Her favorite toy is a toy raccoon that squeaks. She will
toss it in the air and catch it, then squeak it forever... As she is almost
one year old now, she has settled a lot. She is my shadow and my helper.
When I tell her what I am doing, I know she is listening.
