Zur Not wurden die Rollenbahnen eben auf der Dorfstraße montiert: Die Anfänge der BINDER GmbH scheinen aus heutiger Sicht bisweilen recht rustikal. Doch der Erfolg gibt auch hier wieder einmal Recht: Heute ist das Unternehmen ein äußert erfolgreicher Anbieter im Bereich der Materialfluss- und Fördertechnik. Eine eigene Internetseite gibt spannende Einblicke in 50 Jahre Firmengeschichte.
1971 gründet Horst Binder gemeinsam mit seiner Frau Irmgard ein Unternehmen zur Herstellung von Teilen und Werkzeugen. Das Ein-Mann-Unternehmen startete im Nebengebäude eines landwirtschaftlichen Anwesens und legte mit der Spezialisierung auf Fördertechnikkomponenten den Grundstein für eine echte schwäbische Erfolgsgeschichte. Schon bald bestellten Marktführer wie Schöller oder Eisenmann ihre Komponenten im beschaulichen Burgstetten. Wenn hier der Platz für Bau und Montage zu eng wurde, wich man bei guter Witterung zur Not eben auf die Straße oder in ein Zelt aus.
Söhne führen das Unternehmen in der zweiten Generation
Es ist nur eine von vielen Anekdoten, die Stephan und Michael Binder zu erzählen wissen. Die beiden Brüder haben das Unternehmen von ihrem 2007 verstorbenen Vater übernommen und es zu einem modernen und vielseitigen Maschinenbauunternehmen entwickelt. Die zwei sind in der Werkstatt groß geworden und nach Ausbildung und Studium in den elterlichen Betrieb eingestiegen. Sie haben die gesamte Firmenentwicklung miterlebt und in großen Teilen mitgestaltet, angefangen vom Umzug des Unternehmens an den heutigen Standort im Gewerbegebiet Wasenäcker, die Erweiterungen der letzten Jahre über die Einführung der CAD-Technik bis zum Einsatz moderner Schweiß- und Schneidroboter.

2021 blickt die BINDER GmbH auf 50 Jahre Firmengeschichte zurück. Corona-bedingt wird das Jubiläum erst spät in diesem Jahr mit Mitarbeitern, Kunden und Partnern gefeiert. Im Netz gibt es jedoch schon jetzt eine eigene Internetseite, die spannende Einblicke in fünf Jahrzehnte Unternehmensentwicklung bietet.
