So, I ran across one of my grail toys out in the wild, just hanging out in a doll trunk with a bunch of other random vintage dolls. I am sooo stoked. From what I understand (there's not a ton of info around), this version of Lilli was sold in the US, omitting the reference to the Bild newspaper. The doll and outfit are in great shape, beyond a bit of stray paint on her ankle and a repair to the underside of the stand.
Phenomenally different from any Barbie doll, but at the same time so connected by the Lilli sculpt. This doll wears a sewn on vintage silk qi pao with elaborate embroidered dragon.

Lalka is a new generic Lilli - in the tradition of Hong Kong Lilli. She is 29cm tall {or 11.5 inches}. She is hand assembled and finished in Europe. The body parts are painted and strung with elastic. The face is airbrushed and hand-painted, then sealed. Everything is done as a proper factory process, using professional techniques and high-grade materials. The viscose hair is set into the pate of the head by hand, then glued. The pate is attached with a steel screw. The hair is set by hand. Beautiful Lilli wears classic fashions. She is a stunner with her knowing eyes, her flopsy spit curl or woven chignon. Lalka's quality and attention to detail are guaranteed to thrill.
Lalka is a limited edition. Both doll and outfit are numbered on an authentic sticker on the top of the sleek "cellophane" storage / display tube. Lalka comes complete with a miniature tabloid newspaper, a heavy white stand and "gold" metal spike to support her. Lalka is heavier in weight than her sister, Lola, and is heavier than vintage "Hong Kong Lilli" dolls. Lalka weighs much the same as a 1950's Lilli doll.
Brand new European Lilli Laka has some subtle changes to make her even more luscious than her predecessor, Lola. She has longer, more rounded arms and a new hand - just right for showing off her painted nails. Her head has been re-sculpted, with chubbier cheeks, a delicate pixie chin, cute little nose and a beautiful, elegant nape to her neck. She is far more like a mid-century original than any other Lilli-inspired doll made to date. Her hair, in classic ponytail, is viscose and finished off with a black plastic tie. Yes, she has a "pate" attached by a screw, just like the original doll. Some Lalka's model a woven chignon, sporting a hairstyle that best compliments their elegant fashion ensembles.
All new Lilli Lalka dolls are completely hand-finished, each and every one is now different, as every face is done by hand. No two are alike. This is NOT a production-line doll. Lilli Lalka's are all little characters with individual style. Every doll is stunning or they get chucked in the trash can!
Lilli Lalka's body is fully painted, strung, hard-plastic with hand-painted shoes. Her earrings and nails are also painted by hand. If you study close-ups of her face, you can see this doll is not factory screened - everything is hand-done. Her blusher and eyeshadow are all done "in house" - not on a production line.
All Lalka's are sold wearing fashions with specially woven labels that are hand stitched into her garments.

“Money for clothes and the doll for free”
Hard-to-find corset, panties and stockings in great condition
Many Barbie Collectors are getting stuck when it comes to clothing that was only available for limited time and/or from specific vendors. This gorgeous plaid corset including matching panties and thigh-high stockings was part of an AVON Barbie clothing package of the nineties.
It is in good condition and was only worn by the doll pictured on temporary display. It fit perfectly to the featured way-too-short leather-look skirt and the hot black pumps on the pictures.
Because everything fits the buyer of the lingerie will get the doll as is with the faux leather skirt and the back Barbie Millicent Roberts pumps for free. I even give you the transparent Original Barbie stand.
Look at the pictures and see what a stunning outfit Barbie wears here. Classy, perfect “Girls Night Out” clothing, an excellent choice is to leave Ken at home while roaming the town in this attire.

This is a authentic paulova doll from the Spanish doll company Famosa. She was the first mannequin Spanish doll, appeared in 1958, even before Barbie exists.
-
Her name is an homage to the Russian bailarina “Pávlova” (she danced for the Ballets Russes)
Some people say she was created “inspired” by the Bild Lilli from Germany. In my opinion Paulova is far way different from the famous german fashion doll to have a link with her. What do you think about her?
