shot for the OC Weekly... the interview went long, so I only had about 20 minutes to shoot the band...
they met me by the beach and I set up two norman 200Bs, triggered with PWs...the band is called Bikeride so I wanted to incorporate something bike related....after getting the lights up, I had about 12 minutes to shoot before i lost the sky completely....
This is where much of the unsaleable stock from the Sunday flea market in Tashkent (described in the last pic) gets left to waste. Sammy wanted to see the extent to which this spread, but he swiftly about turned on sight of a lady relieving herself. Clearly discarded stock is not the only waste around. Nice.

There is a myth that it always snows in Denver for Halloween. pfffttt...when I took this picture yesterday, it was 77 degrees! We were riding to a picnic! In flip flops! That's Charles and Ollie up ahead.
Sunday on the Reforma boulevard in México City. With the streets closed to car traffic thousands take to their bicycles for a bike ride.

The bike of my husband, with our suitcase! This has made many cyclists talk and laugh about us, with their wallets and their equipment adapted to the bike ... We did with what we had!
