2 years of intensive shooting in the Twin Cities and I finally shot the most classic icon of them all... The Spoonbridge and Cherry in the Minneapolis Sculpture Garden. You can’t hardly browse Minneapolis tourist literature without seeing famous cherry (usually shot from the right to show downtown behind it). Rumor has it that this sculpture is busier than a cheap motel.

Ironically, Stormtrooper Bruce's duties have been changed to now be investigating the increasing break-ins throughout the ship. STB has an idea who may be to blame but intends to let the evidence speak for itself. And now - it's finally time for a nice quiet dinner. But inevitably the universe has other plans.
II: Unka Dude, Unka Dude! Sorry I'm so late, but it was insane in the Mess Hall, and I barely escaped intact!
STB: Hello Little Dude, I was starting to worry. Who are you today, and what is that you're wearing?
II: Today I am Iggy Igloo, and, um, isn't it obvious - I'm incognito.
STB: Again with the insane names; where do you come up with them?
II: It's called an imagination. But, this is important! We need to eat this Ice cream immediately, before it melts!
STB: Then let's dig in! I've just been sitting on these incredibly comfortable cushions, indulging in some deliciously spicy comfort food and it suddenly hit me... I need something cooling for my insides!
II: Oh, speaking of insides - your good intentions to save me from Momma's icky hash last night backfired. She saved me some, and I had indigestion all night long. It was indescribably awful.
STB: Indeed, so sorry to hear that! But, if it helps, I'm starting to look forward to your inventive visits each day. I guess it was inevitable.

As soon as I walked in the door from work this evening, I went straight for the ice cream. I ate it out of the carton and over the sink. Also, I found that the natural light at this time of day is pretty good for pics. #bigspoon
As a special birthday treat, my good friend & neighbour Shirley Creamhorn has sent me these photographs of a secret project shes been working on that she'd like to share with the world (shes not so hot at using computers)
This is a hand-painted prototype of a 5.7 inch toy, which is a minature version of the bronze statue she had commissioned for the courtyard of her estate (Shithawk mansion).
The statue, which features the beautiful Miss Creamhorn and her beloved best friend and mascot, the Shithawk, is going to be cast in Bronze iron and set into the driveway of her home.
She became interested in the cult of vinyl when I started showing her the various stages of Droplet, and become curious as to wether she could enter the world of designer toys.
I told her that i thought herself and the shithawk would make a great figure, so she pressed ahead and spoke to Big Spoon, to see if they would be interested in turning her shithawk-filled dreams into reality, and sure enough, Alex Avelino - the sculptor and man behind Big Spoon was 100% behind the idea!
So I present to you, 'Shirley Creamhorn & Shithawk', I hope she'll become as dear a friend to you as she has been to me!

Shirley just emailed me these snaps of her and Shithawk, frolicing with his kinsman all the way over in Toronto, which is a hell of a way-away from her residence of Tumpkin-on-the-mound!

I spent the evening taking care of my half-siblings. We went crazy. I wanted us to - I was the fun older brother. So crazy we went - and we had an evening tea to go with it.
