One of the snowboarders heading away from the slopes after competing in the Icelandic Snowboarding competitions, Mt Hlíðarfjall Ski resort, Eyjafjörður, N-Iceland.
Which other capital in the world has a great ski resort within minutes of downtown? I don´t know, but Oslo does. Some great jumps as well.
Returning fliers take turns coming aboard. One of several flocks of geese return safely for a meal before they go out on patrol again.
Yesterdays session gave rise to some really big jumps also, but they took place way out of he viewfinder. So todays set up was ment to catch some larger action. Some of the photos came out allright, but there are some details to improve.
And I have to put the kittens to use, they are soon leaving home.

A fish tries to jump up and over the Thiensville dam on the Milwaukee River in Thiensville. I believe it is a brown trout.
Got to try out the high-speed (6 frames/second) mode on the D300 last weekend in Oppdal. Got there a little late for the jumping-competition but got to shoot some ski jumpers practicing afterwards.

Lewis and I took a walk along the beach this afternoon and I said that I was looking for an idea for today's challenge. No problem, Pops he said and he ran on in front of me and shouted ready! Camera in hand and "snap" caught him ~ my little winner made me feel like a winner!
