Dear Cousins,
I am at Camp Merritt, N.J. now and feeling fine. Saw New York and Statue of Liberty and rode in Subway. It is rather chilly here and feel it at night. We have 3 blankets and our pack weighs about 70 pounds. Will say goodbye until I write from across. Norman

The Highest Building in the World
Many photographs have been taken of this wonderful building. This one, taken at down, shows its real beauty and impressive height to best advantage. Its magnificent Tower is the first object to catch the rays of the sun, and, gradually, the entire building is bathed in a golden tint. Amid its crowded surroundings it stands out as a work of art and symbol of American enterprise and spirit.

The balls for the Newton's Cradle are hung with rope. We used metal cable on the previous versions and it was very heavy - we need as much of the weight as possible to be in the balls, rather than anywhere else.

The bowling balls for this project were donated to us by the fine folks over at 900Global.com - which is what the balls spell when it is completed.
