This picture of tree braches in sillhouette on a sky in fire, I took in Botswana some years ago, is now my most successful picture on Flickr, with more than 830 favorites and over 44,000 views.

Sincere thanks, my friends, for your appreciation: it means a lot to me!!

African sky can be truly impressive. I was in Botswana and after sunset I waited for this incredible show to become perfect for a tree branches silhouette shot on the amazing background.

I hope you will enjoy.

Baobabs are the hugest trees in Africa and their shape is something truly impressive.

I chose to portray a very big one in sillhouette on an amazing after sunset sky, in Botswana.

Sudan is a magic Country where you can visit some amazing places like this. Those pyramids are ancient tombs and they represent a captivating subject for the photographer's eye!

I really hope you like this back-light desert landscape.

This huge red sand dune is the "DUNE NUMBER 5" in Sossusvlei, Namibia.

This perspective, with low pov, helps highlighting the dimensional contrast between the trees and the dune itself.

I hope you like it.

I'm happy to present you my first shot from my last photographic journey in south west England.

Here we are in the St. Oswald bay, on the coast path from Lulworth Cove to the Durdle Door.

These are magnificent rocks that really make you feel small: if you zoom in and look on the left, there is a road and those small dots you can maybe see are persons!!

The weather was stormy, in the early morning, and I was lucky to capture such a marvellous light!!

Terribly hot summer in the Death Valley, USA. Sand dunes and mountains at an average temperature of 58 °C!!!

And hot wind was blowing the sand away from the dunes (on the left of the picture), changing their shape all the time.

Cornwall is a marvellous destination for a photographic journey, thanks to the amazing bays and the variety of skies and colors.

Here we can see the incredibly yellow lichens on the nearby rocks, while the color of the sea is so brilliant and wild.

BTW: I knew that the Nikkor 16-35VR was a notoriously sharp lens but... ....damn, it's amazing!!!!

This is a new edit of a very successful picture of mine with a sensational Giada (who was just 16 at that time!) posing like she was "the boss" on the bridge.

Amazing Nikkor 85mm-1.4's bokeh!

Enjoy it @ 100%, please!!

My adorable niece Lucrezia (Luli in our family) in a simple but effective country set.

From time to time I like a square format portrait. This one of the lovely Lucie is one that I like very much.

I do hope you will like it too!!

Another amazing pose and look from the stunning Giada.

It's incredible how she performs in front of the camera!!

No words to add to Ilenia's beauty.

I wish that my beautiful niece, Lucrezia, can fly high like an eagle.

She is smart, intelligent, brave and beautiful!

I'm happy to present you the second shot from my last photographic journey in south west England.

Here we are in the St. Oswald bay, on the so called Jurassic Coast, on the path from Lulworth Cove to the Durdle Door: the very famous Durdle door is the rock you can see on the extreme right of this shot.

Thanks to the extra wide lens I could fit all of it in this landscape shot: the dimensions of the rocks and of the beach are really huge!! (the Durdle door arch is 60 m (200 ft) tall, like a 20 floors building...!!!

This is a magnificent beach with some incredibly blue and green water!!

Even if the weather was stormy, in the early morning, I could luckily capture the colors and the magnificent light of the scene!!
