Last weekend Darius and Shiva met for first time. I took this picture in the beginning of our walk. Although it looks as if ice was not yet broken we had a really great day. I hope we will repeat this very soon.
The East Lancashire Spring Diesel Gala was held in February of 2016 and compared to last year's it was a lot wetter. I had to refer to the printed timetable when I wanted to identify this locomotive as it had no name or number.
The picture was taken at Summerseat on the East Lancashire Railway and shows Class37 37418 on it's way to Ramsbottom. The image was caught on the 20th February 2016.
