A snow leopard in the snow atChessington

I never tire of photographing this beautiful animal

Yes, this REALLY IS a big kitty I ran into while out hiking in Pogonip. I was close enough to be a little scared, but not close enough to get great pics. After a few shots and a video, he turned to look at me and started walking toward me. Since I was alone and not sure if he was dangerous, I decided it would be prudent for me to leave :) In retrospect, I wish I had stuck around and gotten some better pics, but also in retrospect, he was pretty big and could easily have pounced on me. I have gone back hiking again, looking for him, but so far have found naught but pawprints (pics of which I will post later). I did talk to a Ranger about him and was told that I should feel priviliged as they are very rare to see. It was definitely a spiritual experience and one I won't soon forget.

Lions and Tigers and Bears!, oh my!. Jeanne and I recently went on a photo safari and got to hold this cute baby lion cub.

This is Anala, one of two tigers at the Franklin Park Zoo in Boston, Massachusetts. She and her friend Luther were confiscated during a sting operation where someone was trying to sell them to an undercover officer.
