Didn't know that I'd fall so hard,

Then my feet left the ground

Gravity don't make no sense when you're around.

I come up against myself when

Demons in my head get loud,

I don't know how you do it, but you turn them down.

I slip and wonder who I'd be

If I never found you and you never found me,

Well, I don't wanna see.

So won't you give me tonight

And the rest of your life?

I wanna have it all with you

I wanna have it all with you.

And when you open your eyes

I'll be there by your side

I wanna have it all with you

I wanna have it all with you

'Cause your love is biblical,

Biblical, it's biblical.

If you evеr go to pieces

Fall between thе thunder clouds,

I will put you back together, I won't let you down

I slip and wonder what I'd do,

If you never found me and I never found you

I don't know what I'd do...

So won't you give me tonight

And the rest of your life?

I wanna have it all with you

I wanna have it all with you

And when you open your eyes

I'll be there by your side

I wanna have it all with you

I wanna have it all with you....

In old mythologies and legends the Robin as a spirit animal was also a symbol of passion and honour. It is also believed that the robin is a divine bird. The robins are also called spring birds because they symbolize renewal and new birth.

Native Americans believed that all birds are messengers of the Gods and Goddesses. They honored most birds and regarded them as spirit guides. The robin is no different. The Natives believed robin is sign of an angel as well as ‘relationship’ birds.

Most of the legends, folklores and robin bird symbolism come from European robins, which have been transferred to American robin flying. The European robin is known scientifically as Erithacus rubecula.

'Biblical'. I enjoyed a wild camp on Kinder Scout on Tuesday nigh. For the whole day, the weather pattern was repeated cycles of hail-storms, high winds and rainbows. It made photography extremely difficult, but what an experience it was to be amongst it!

This is certainly no compositional masterpiece, however it difficult enough just taking the image.

Thanks for looking.

7 Therefore Jesus said again, "I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. 8 All who ever came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. 9 I am the gate; whoever enters through me WILL BE SAVED. He will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10 The thief comes only to STEAL and KILL and DESTROY; I have come that they may have LIFE, and have it to the FULL. (John 10:7-10)

The moment of completion.

As to Biblical lore, after this moment, life was granted on this planet.

A morning in December with Carlo Olegario and Colin Bates on the South Coast shooting what seemed to be creation! Enjoy the shot I love this one!!! I think I might actually put this on my wall!!

Did you know that there are three references to Bitterns in the original King James Bible (first published 1611)? All of them are Old Testament and all refer to the aftermath of God destroying cities. Here's a quote about the destruction of Babylon from Isaiah 14:23: “I will also make it a possession of the bittern, and pools of water: and I will sweep it with the besom of destruction, saith the Lord of Hosts.” Zephaniah 2:14 and Isaiah 34:11 refer to God’s destruction of Niniveh and Edom respectively and refer to Bitterns inhabiting the ruins afterwards. The occurrence of Bitterns at Babylon, Niniveh and Edom would suggest that God’s most routine punishment was flood, but later versions such as the New English Bible (Old Testament published 1970) replaced Bitterns with Bustards, a desert dwelling group of birds, thus completely changing the manner of desecration of these three cities.

Back to the Bittern, this was taken at Far Ings a few weeks back.

SALVATION THROUGH FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST - ALONE!

12 Salvation is found in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given to men by which we must be saved."

❤️❤️ IT'S ALL JESUS AND NONE OF OURSELVES! ❤️❤️

16 I am not ashamed of the gospel, because it is the power of God for the SALVATION of everyone WHO BELIEVES: first for the Jew, then for the Gentile. 17 For in the gospel a RIGHTEOUSNESS FROM GOD IS REVEALED, a righteousness that is by FAITH FROM FIRST TO LAST, just as it is written: "THE RIGHTEOUS WILL LIVE BY FAITH." (Romans 1:16-17)

16 KNOW that a man is NOT justified by observing the law, but by FAITH IN JESUS CHRIST. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be JUSTIFIED BY FAITH in CHRIST and NOT by observing the law, BECAUSE BY OBSERVING THE LAW NO ONE WILL BE JUSTIFIED. (Galatians 2:16)

1. Now, brothers, I want to remind you of the gospel I preached to you, which you received and on which you have taken your stand. 2. BY THIS GOSPEL YOU ARE SAVED, if you hold firmly to the word I preached to you. Otherwise, you have believed in vain.

3. For what I received I passed on to you as of first importance: that Christ died for our sins according to the Scriptures, 4. that he was buried, that he was raised on the third day according to the Scriptures, 5. and that he appeared to Peter, and then to the Twelve. 6. After that, he appeared to more than five hundred of the brothers at the same time, most of whom are still living, though some have fallen asleep. 7. Then he appeared to James, then to all the apostles, 8. and last of all he appeared to me also, as to one abnormally born.

9. For I am the least of the apostles and do not even deserve to be called an apostle, because I persecuted the church of God. 10. But by the grace of God I am what I am, and his grace to me was not without effect. No, I worked harder than all of them--yet not I, but the grace of God that was with me. 11. Whether, then, it was I or they, this is what we preach, and this is what you believed. (1 Corinthians 15:1-11)

7. Therefore Jesus said again, "I tell you the truth, I am the gate for the sheep. 8. All who ever came before me were thieves and robbers, but the sheep did not listen to them. 9. I am the gate; whoever enters through me WILL BE SAVED. He will come in and go out, and find pasture. 10. The thief comes only to STEAL and KILL and DESTROY; I have come that they may have LIFE, and have it to the FULL. (John 10:7-10)

1 Brothers, my heart's desire and prayer to God for the Israelites is that they may be saved. 2 For I can testify about them that they are zealous for God, but their zeal is not based on knowledge. 3 Since they did not know the righteousness that comes from God and sought to establish their own, they did not submit to God's righteousness. 4 Christ is the end of the law so that there may be righteousness for everyone who believes.

5 Moses describes in this way the righteousness that is by the law: "The man who does these things will live by them." 6 But the righteousness that is by faith says: "Do not say in your heart, 'Who will ascend into heaven?'" (that is, to bring Christ down) 7 "or 'Who will descend into the deep?'" (that is, to bring Christ up from the dead). 8 But what does it say? "The word is near you; it is in your mouth and in your heart," that is, the word of faith we are proclaiming: 9 That if you confess with your mouth, "Jesus is Lord," and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. 10 For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved. 11 As the Scripture says, "Anyone who trusts in him will never be put to shame." 12 For there is no difference between Jew and Gentile--the same Lord is Lord of all and richly blesses all who call on him, 13 for, "Everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." (Romans 10:1-13)

Jesus came to bring spiritual LIFE to the spiritually dead and set the captives FREE! FREE from RELIGION, ERROR and outright LIES, so WE might serve THE LIVING GOD! In SPIRIT and in TRUTH!

So you'll KNOW, and not think you're to bad for God to love. The Christian LIFE isn't about how good WE are, because NONE of us are! It's about how GOOD JESUS IS! Because JESUS LOVES US, so much he died in our place and took the punishment for all of our sins on himself. The wages of sin is DEATH, and Jesus took the death WE so richly deserved for us and died in our place. The good news is, there's no more punishment for sin left. WE, you and I were all born forgive as a result of the crucifixion of God himself on the cross that took away the sins of the whole world. All we have to do is believe it, and put your Faith in the finished work of Jesus Christ. That my friends is REAL UNCONDITIONAL LOVE! YOU ARE LOVED. ❤️ ✝️ ❤️

Rio de Janeiro, Brazil

Fast running out of new images to process and not a single outing in August so far which will blow another New Year’s resolution. So again, forced to resort to archive dipping. It’s always a dilemma I feel how far back you should go, but I hit on this idea which gives me free rein to look at anything I taken since taking up photography.

So here is my first entry into a new album titled – Around the World in Eighty Shots

We're not told much about the details of family life, in the Bible, but we are told a little about these fathers (and a few more) who were good ones.

Thanks for looking!

I showed this photograph to my son who said that it "messed with his head", mainly because two thirds of the "sky" is actually polar ice cap covered with snow. And to add to the confusion there's also a bit of a Fata Morgana mirage going on where the glacier meets the sea. But that myriad of specks are all Brunnich's Guillemots (aka Thick-billed Murres in America) flying to and from their nesting cliffs. This was taken near the cliffs at Alkefjellet in eastern Spitsbergen where 60,000 pairs of Brunnich's Guillemots breed. Though at first glance it looks like one of the Biblical plagues of Egypt, maybe Locusts?

Three shot panoramic of the cloisters in Gloucester Cathedral, using my Nikon D810 + 24mm tilt shift lens hand held, which is not the easiest thing to do!

The painted vault of the central nave of the Cathedral of Lamego, built in the 12th century and later reformulated, is a remarkable example of Portuguese religious heritage and Baroque art. The illusionist painting, carried out in the first half of the 18th century, possibly by Nicolau Nasoni or his school, integrates Baroque elements, biblical scenes and decorative motifs in golden, red and white tones, distributed in three distinct sections with richly decorated panels, central medallions and elaborate ornaments in stucco and gilded woodcarving. The cathedral, founded in 1129 and consecrated in 1175, reflects the evolution of Portuguese religious architecture, combining Romanesque, Gothic, Manueline and Baroque styles, and its interior is marked by three naves covered by edge vaults. Although the direct attribution to Nasoni is not documented, the style of the paintings - with their three-dimensional illusion, the integration of painted architectural motifs and the Baroque decorative richness - is very close to his work in other works documented in Porto (Clérigos Church and Porto Cathedral), suggesting its authorship or that of an artist from his circle of influence, who reproduced the typical illusionist techniques of the Italian master.

A walk down to our local nature reserve, Foxearth Meadows, today. Needless to say, all the exotic species that live down there were hiding from me, as per normal. I really think I must be the worlds worst wildlife photographer! I just don't have the patience, if it hasn't turned up by the time I've drunk my flask of coffee and eaten my biscuits, I give up! But it was lovely to get out, wander about, take some pictures and just look at things.

The Saint Étienne cathedral in Cahors (France) is a Romanesque construction begun in the 12th century, it has a beautiful facade in the north of the building with a Romanesque tympanum in the style of those existing in Saint Sernin de Toulouse, Conques and Moissac (France).

The central almond-shaped mandorla contains Christ representing the Ascension, with one hand he blesses and in the other he holds the Bible, surrounded by sculptures representing angels and biblical scenes.

The forecast had been for showers on and off all day, but we thought what the heck it won't stop us from going out.. Firstly we were blown off our feet whilst down at the coast and then nearly washed away as we drove through the Forest. These poor ponies were heads down against the hailstones trying to get to the shelter of the nearby trees.

The fog was biblical this morning, and lasted for most of the day! However, work commitments and lack of battery power meant I had about 5 minutes to snap up some shots.
