The Vande Bharat Express trains were introduced 5 years ago, connecting cities that are less than 800 km (500 mi) apart or take less than ten hours to travel with existing services. The train was a part of the 'Make in India' initiative by the government. The trainsets are self-propelling Electric Multiple Units (EMU)s with eight or sixteen coaches. The trainset was designed and manufactured by Integral Coach Factory in Chennai. Introduced in 2018, the trainsets achieved semi-high speeds of 183 km/h (114 mph) on trials, and crossed target trial speed of 180 km/h (110 mph) on trials, but the maximum operational speed is 160 km/h (99 mph). This was a big increase in speed considering how slow Indian trains were, mostly due to old and overused tracks. In the coming years the Indian Railways are going to upgrade tracks all over the country, along with the road infra-structure. This could mean these trains will be increasing travel speeds in the coming years.
After foreign proposals for introducing semi-high-speed trains were unsuccessful, the 'Make in India' campaign fuelled the cause for developing the next generation EMU semi-high-speed trainsets locally. As of 8th October 2024, 66 Vande Bharat trains are in service, which includes 17 sixteen-car services, 4 twenty-car services and 45 eight-car services. Some of the facilities that are available on these trains are automatic doors, smoke alarms, CCTV cameras, odour control systems, bio-vacuum toilets, sensor-based water taps, roller blinds, GPS-based passenger information system and executive class coaches with rotating seats in a 2x2 configuration.
The coaches come equipped with improved mechanical couplers and modern bolster-less design bogies with fully suspended traction motors, pneumatic secondary suspension and stabiliser assembly which make them some of the most comfortable trains to travel in anywhere in the world. This is a fact attested by the many videos seen on YouTube where foreign tourists have vouched for the same.
Bharata Natyam is one of the most popular and widely performed dance styles and is practiced by male and female dancers all over India. Due to its wide range of movements and postures and the balanced melange of the rhythmic and mimetic aspects lends itself well to experimental and fusion choreography

I might have uploaded this picture before, don't know for sure. The beauty of a India's small economies is the diversity that it comes with, you get these really small shops, that just sell or repair several parts. Even in smaller cities you can find specialised shops, like this one in Jamnagar.
