When I visit London I always stay at the Union Jack Club in Waterloo. Usually, I get a room that faces south so I haven't had a chance to get this shot until now. Setting my camera up on the desk in my room and shooting through the window, I managed to avoid any reflections by turning off all the lights. It looks great during the day, but really comes alive at night when you get a few light trails from passing traffic.
The BFI IMAX at Waterloo is the biggest cinema screen in the UK at 20m high and 26m wide. The cinema was designed by Bryan Avery of Avery Associates Architects and completed in May 1999.
I've been to see a fair few films here now and always get amazed by how big that screen is!!
