I hadn't realised that you could see part of this sculpture exhibition from the Park.
We'd gone into the Park hoping that the deer might be rutting, but it was all quiet. We hit it right once, and it was absolutely marvellous. Will probably try again soon!

'Sculler' by Barry Flanagan ...
I'd given up on the reflection of this sculpture at the Ring Pond. I suppose what I like about these sculptures is the sheer absurdity of them.
I asked this couple to pose for me - never done that before in my life; they were very kind (and, if you are reading this, thank you). It almost worked; I wish I'd asked the guy to do his coat up now and stand straighter to get a more surrealist touch. This is why I'm not a professional, ah well.
Not sure why I like this sculpture, am certainly not a fan of violence - but I really am drawn to it.
Sorry, don't like either it or his sculptures. Looks OK in the setting sun, and in its defence it is quite big, but the juxtaposition of the inside and the outside form has been done to death.
