Desde hace un tiempo , el tema de datos abiertos ( open data ) y reutilización de la información del sector público ( RISP ) ha despertado un gran interés dado su potencial. El grupo “Catalunya dades”, formado por profesionales e interesados en el tema, promueve la formación como instrumento básico para la creación de una gran comunidad de práctica en torno a este tema. Como elemento central de esta formación se ha diseñado un curso virtual introductorio sobre datos abiertos con el espíritu de atraer a profesionales y particulares interesados en el tema usando como ejemplo datos provinentes de los servicios de Telenotícias de TV3.
Talleres
Los talleres son actividades de tipo práctico , presenciales , donde los participantes trabajarán en grupos para alcanzar un objetivo concreto alrededor de uno o más conjuntos de datos abiertos de su interés. Idealmente , cada participante debería disponer de un ordenador portátil con wifi.

Sometimes it seems as if a strong wind could pull it down. It is known locally as 'Beta Betat', which means 'three stones'. This rock formation has attracted tourists from countless locations around the globe, and has been a source of revenue for the local community. Mr. Peter Davou, an elder of Riyom (a Berom community) shared the story of the great blessing of this rock. He explained that they grew up knowing that the rock was created by God, and has remained the symbol of their pride and the face of Plateau State. During the rainy season of every year, winged termites 'Tsung' come out from the rock. As a long standing tradition, every young boy from the age of seven will go to the rock, use a basket to waive and trap the insects. He fries them and presents it to his maternal home. They eat it, give him a chicken in return, and pronounce blessings upon him.
