To inculcate the sportsman spirit, value of teamwork and importance of physical fitness in our students, the very first Annual Sports Day of SKS WORLD SCHOOL was organized on 18th Nov. 2017 (Saturday).On that day atmosphere in school was perfect to boost the morale of the students and school gave a festive look. The students entered into the spirit of the occasion in a grand way. A great interest was observed among the students and the guardians. The zealous parents gathered in a large numbers to enjoy the sport fiesta and constantly applauded the participants of the Field track displays.

The Chief Guest, Col Anupam Jain ( CO NCC, Gr Noida ) along with the Guest of Honor Mr Vinesh Chaudhary ( International basket ball player)and other dignitaries took the salute from the impressive March Past of the students. An energizing exercise drill set the tone for the rest of the event. Once the races began the air was filled with cheering and encouragement for the young athletes. The students competed in various events including bag race, Lemon race, 3 legged race, 100 meters race etc. Yoga and formation of pyramids gave a jovial look. The students also reflected the magic of Goa by presenting Goan dance. The collective intake of the audience and the sudden outburst of the cheers were amongst the best feeling one could ever hope to experience on that very day.

The Chief Guest, in his address lauded the efforts of the entire school team and appreciated the flawless performance. His speech stressed the importance of sporting sprit. He congratulated the Principal and her team for the mega sport fiesta.

Then Chief Guest and other dignitaries encouraged the young athletes by giving away the medals and trophies to the winners and the event was completed with a photo session. It was an exciting day for the students of SKS World School and sport fiesta was filled with lots of nostalgic memories. It highlighted the importance of sportsmanship in SKS World School young athletes.
