A special note to my Tennessee friends, this was taken Sunday during the snowstorm as I was driving back from the state line. Thought you would like to see what the other side of the mountain looked like.
this picture was taken during a walk down Bourbon st new Orleans on a stormy night. before the end of the tornado warning.
Its a tiny bird of prey, moves very fast towards its prey. I saw it chasing a few small birds before it perched back on this branch.
Kenya's National Bird, The Lilac Breasted Roller Bird gets its name from the impressive aerial acrobatics it performs as part of courtship. They are found in grasslands and open woods across Africa, feed directly off the ground and are highly territorial.
This closed gas station near Salt Lake City, Utah, is not a functioning station. It looks old but yet everything is well taken care of. A bit of a mystery. Photo is a few years old never posted before.
