There's such a satisfying feeling as a photographer, when you reach a location before sunrise, when everything is still dark and deep hues of blue and grey, and the first light of the sun begins to illuminate the world in front of your lens.
Standing in the depths of Zion Canyon on a blustery winter morning, my eyes tearing from the sub-freezing gusts, the anticipation is palpable. When the first hint of light starts to warm the Towers and Temple of the Virgin under a still deep blue sky, it is truly one of the Creator's great ceremonies.

The inimitable Grand Prismatic Spring at sunset in Yellowstone National Park.
I was fortunate enough to shoot this amazing scene from a number of angles as the sun set on a perfect June day. By this hour there are few tourists because, quite frankly, to the naked eye the colors are very muted. But with long exposures, the camera captures the brilliance with even greater contrast than is available during the height of the day.
With its mirror-like quality and the vibrant colors of the microbial mat, I could not help but envision this as a stained-glass window, worthy of any religious site.

This is my 5 year old son standing and watching the fireworks as light them in the street out front of our house.
...was a while since I made burgers.
We´re pretty fed up with basically all the "chains" around here, both from a quality perspective as well as a monetary ditto.
I don´t want to pay $15 or more, for just a pretty average, fat dripping, overcooked meat patty drenched in mayo and other bleak add-ons.
The R4M has an almost SLR like faculty for giving what you see with the 28 frame. Even framing tightly you don't loose anything. Most rf-cameras are moore loose with the framing - generally a bit more than the viewfinder shows - the R4 is precise.
It is still one of my favourite bodies to use. Always along for any wide angle lens.

She delights audiences with social commentary and hilarious material drawn from her shambolic life as a working class, LGBT dog mum. She is also the driving force behind Best In Class, a crowd funded show that champions the talent of working class comedians.

Spectators sit patiently in a gentle rain awaiting the results of the finals competition at the Birdville Marching Festival(Texas).
This a thoroughly-researched recreation of an outfit worn by one of the two members of the band, Daft Punk. The black leather outfit was custom made for the costume. The helmet was sculpted, and a mold was made from the sculpture. Once the helmet was cast, it was sent to a factory to be chrome plated. All of the LEDs were hand wired into the helmet. They can be programmed for words or images, and they are controlled by a switch in his glove.

Proprietary Red is a full-grain, single hide, vegetable dyed calfskin cover. It is the result of a collaboration with a Master Napa Valley Winemaker to create a durable, tasteful cover for his wine tasting and wine blending notebooks. The covers fit the standard size composition books whose hardcovers and sewn-in pages are preferred by winemakers and authors who require stable, long-lived medium for archiving their work.
My daughter, Allison(right) is a member of the Fossil Ridge High School Colorguard. This Charming Man is the second hour of stand up from comedian Sian Davies, winner of the Edinburgh Comedy Award 2022 and Best Debut Show at Leicester Comedy Festival 2020.
“A very funny observational stand-up … imagine a queer Peter Kay with more emotional literacy and a quiff like young Morrissey.” (The Evening Standard)
Funny Woman runner up (2019) and Hilarity Bites best newcomer winner (2018), Sian is a regular on the comedy circuit. She has performed at festivals, theatres, clubs and arts centres across the UK and supported Fern Brady on tour.
“Simultaneously warm and sharp, she’s what Jason Manford would be if he was a Liverpudlian lesbian, with a broad appeal and snappy jokes.” (Chortle)
Where do you go when your role models let you down? Join award-winning comedian and jumped-up pantry boy Sian on a journey through masculinity and gender identity via Salford Lads Club (puncture repair kit not included).
Sian loves men. But she has a toxic relationship with all her male role models.
The men she has admired throughout her life have done nothing but let her down. But why did she idolise them in the first place? And where do we draw the line?
An exploration of masculinity, gender and identity packed full of nostalgic pop culture references and queer joy. Delivered by a self-identifying butch woman who has an unhealthy obsession with The Smiths.
Directed by Elf Lyons and supported by Homotopia.
'Compelling and distinctive.' (Scotsman)
