Atticus finally gave out. It happens to all of us. We just don't move the way we used to! Two Goldens are twice the fluff, too. Whenever Mojave visits, let's just say, the Swiffer gets used at least twice a day! (I am in the process of traveling so I had to use an archived photo).

This big, beautiful yellow dog. What can we say?
On any given day, our Princess, our Stinkpot, our Sassy Pants, our Snaggleooth. And when out and about exploring together, always the leader of our little pack. Just as funny, sunny, and amiable as labs come.
We're grateful for memories of this glorious day at Jekyll Island on a recent trip to Georgia. What a comfort to remember such happy times when learning, yesterday, that the clock is now ticking with a diagnosis of Splenic Hemangiosarcoma.
Steve and I are choosing not to put Molly through a big surgery with a poor prognosis. We hope we still have weeks, maybe months, to enjoy her, but this is a cruel aggressive cancer that is unpredictable and can cause a sudden bleed. We'll take things day by day and just love her as hard as we can for as long as we've got left.
What a privilege it is to have had this pure soul spend her whole life in our care and to share her with Flickr friends over the years. Thank you all for loving her too.

Mojave follows Atticus around everywhere and tries to copy everything he does. OOPS! I misunderstood this week's challenge, so I will do this challenge next week! Looking forward to looking back at everyone's photos!
LOL!! I can't help but laugh because after I took the photo, he came charging at me and almost knocked me down the hill behind me! It is the back side of an earthen dam that is about 100 feet tall! It would have been hilarious and hopefully if it does happen, I will take photos on the way down!!

The new addition to my daughter's family! Little Mojave aka "Mojo" met Atticus last weekend and they had a blast! He already knows how to shake and, of course, both are behaving and posing well because of a treat waved above their heads. Who says dogs aren't food driven?! Mojo is eight weeks old.

My two best buds at Hilton Head, SC while on vacation.
This photo was uninitiated and truly shows the love big brother (Eli) has for his little sister (Gracie). As you can imagine, I was scrambling to get this once-in-a-lifetime memory. What's more amazing to me is the gentle and soft nature of both of their hearts. I know as they get older there will be some tough times but I'm enjoying every minute for now. On the positive side, I'll have something to look at when they are pulling each other's hair out as teenagers. No big deal, by then I should be good and senile. :~)
