Slightly more rare in my experience these are quite small fish. I pursued this fish for 5 minutes then gave him a break. Lovely colors. I think of this as the Zispepo fish now!

I had a lot of fun with this soft coral fish. I was toward the back end of my only dive for that day, and noted a very small movemetn in the fronds of this flower pot coral. Through patience and persistence I was able to use my 105mm with my 2.0 teleconverter to get some nice close shots. This fish was in Brownian motion (ceaseless random motion) across the soft coral. I don't think you could use a super macro converter or a magnifier to get these shots since the subject is very dynamic...

A prolific and reliably seen nudibranch, I am always greeted by them on my dives. They range in size from quite small to large. They have a tendenc to hold on with the caudal section (rear end) of their body and try to climb/find purchase with their rostral end (front part). This one was spotted on the way to the exit after 95 minutes at depth with 500psi, which any diver knows is when you see the best creatures!

On this day, Shawn Miller and I went out looking for pygmy seahorse. On the way out i noticed this thready creature moving on a reef segment. It is clearly a tiny sea dragon. This photo coincided with the plankton spawn, so a recently hatched pipefish makes sense. Lovely young specimen in any case.

A sleeping adult Dusky Parrotfish (Scarus niger) sleeping. Sleeping parrotfish protect themselves from predators by creating a mucous bubble to sleep in. It keeps their delicious fishy odor out of the water so no predators come to eat them. They don't have eyelids, so they can't close their eyes. This fish was sleeping, and I was able to get a nice close shot without waking him up.

Saw this micronudibranch under a rocky overhang on the seawall. It was not longer than 2cm. Loved the benefit of the teleconverter with this specimen.
The second photo I am posting of this specimen. It was quite small and at an odd angle. With the 200mm equivalent lens, I had a hard time framing it and avoiding damaging the reef. This is cropped andthe colors were manipulated in Lightroom.

The 2nd or 3rd time i have seen this fish. First time i have gotten a photo is an extended (unnatural for this fish) position. I was happy with the detail on this shot. The white spot is unique, i think.

Shawn Miller (#yeahiknowshawnmiller) and I were finishing a dive and taking photos of a Roboastra luteolineolata nudibranch. This dragonet moved in and really stole the show. These are great fish to observe: not shy, has moments where it isn't constnalty moving. At least somewhat curious.

I'm fairly certain on this species. I think it looks more "speckled" than "spotted," but that's not a species. A rarer find for me. In Nago, I usually see more "greyface" or "white eyed" moray eels. Taken with a Nikon D850 using a 105mm lens and a 1.7 teleconverter. Not cropped. This was a lovely eel who was very photogenic. It has a bit of sediment on it's head which may have already been there, or may have been from my own movements. A really satisfying shot in which I have both bokeh and depth of focus. Truly excellent technology combined with a bit of luck.
