part of my exploration of close-up,

i like what the different textures do for this pic, i also like all the different patterns in it from skin/hair, to sheet, ribbon, pants and blanket

at first i was trying to focus on belly button, then i changed my mind and went to pants/ribbon, then i decided on both in the same pic worked best :)

Remember those crazy magicians who stick nasty things through their lovely assistant's bodies?

Well, I stuck my nasty head through my body.

Taking this picture, I realized how much different life would look if your head were stuck through someone else's belly button. You'd get first-hand details of all of life's most . . . dirty details. Going to the bathroom? Sucks, but someone's gonna get splashed. Getting some hanky panky? Well, guess who's got first row seats!

Before you go off thinking how nutzoid I am, mull over this one for a while:

At least I'm not a tumor.

This teether is out for the count. I love that you get that little glimpse of belly button in the shot too.

Hips pierced. Ouch.

The actual piercing as it occurred. Courtney turned about 50 shades of green. And then she turned white.

Me, 42 lbs into my diet. Whee!

I can now see the top AND bottom scars from my old navel piercing (the bottom scar used to be inside my bellybutton. This is the first time I've ever seen it.)

Colin found his belly button

My hairy tummy at 23+3 weeks pregnant with number 2 - le bump. Looks quite large from this angle.

This is for Adam, who specifically wanted to see the belly button. And for heather, who put a pretty disturbing picture of Emmett's belly button on her web site.

Noah is 3 yrs old.

I did a standard shot of John, but knowing him, I suspected he could do something more....

This was it. One take.

wheres that belly button?

A very simple imagine, but... doesn't it look like a bellybutton, a little? That's what I find to be most interesting. This is a negative from an old series of mine that was mainly about my crazy paranoia.

thx to Andrea and the still nameless unborn
