I was experimenting a bit last night with off-camera lighting (using SB-600 flash to the left of the camera). I would love to get some help and thoughts on the lighting, contrast, tones... as this is a new area of photography for me.

The choice was between this, uvula and urethra for a (photographable) body part starting with U.
This is also the first picture that I have taken using an adaptor to fit a lens from my old camera on to my new one.
