Mit dem Kanu auf dem Fluss Regen zu fahren ist zuweilen zwar sehr anstrengend, aber mit den richtigen Leuten, macht es sehr viel Spass.
Driving a canoe on the river Regen is sometimes indeed very tiring, but with the right people, it makes a lot of fun.

If you don't like walking you can use a boat to get to Abbey Weltenburg. Or take the boat back, if you got too much dark beer in the abbey beergarden 😊
After a 45min boat trip you will reach your destination, Abbey Weltenburg. The Benedictine abbey was founded in the year 600 and thus is the oldest monastic settlement in Bavaria.
Plus, it's the oldest monastery brewery (world-wide) too. Inside the abbey walls a cosy beergarden invites you to taste their famous dark beer and enjoy Bavarian food.
The Benedictine priory and erstwhile abbey of Andechs is a place of pilgrimage on a hill east of the Ammersee in the Landkreis of Starnberg (Upper Bavaria) in Germany, in the municipality Andechs.
Andechs Abbey is famed for its flamboyant Baroque church and its brewery, Klosterbrauerei Andechs.

the word is hard to translate and describes a cozy atmosphere where people have a good time in community. Here a crowd has met in a Beergarden to enjoy a beautiful Sunday. Soon they will come back to work to produce and export cars to conquer the markets of the US. Bad people.....Burg Vlotho, Vlotho, Ostwestfalen, Germany
Shalak and Bruno Smoky are still in process to complete this mural. In fact, Bruno was there, when I took the photo. The Toronto patio is open for beer and some food. Football games are shown on big screen. The day, I was there it was a long line-up to get in. Look to me at least an hour wait and the Euro Cup game was already finished.

In a fine drizzle we cycled to the lost place Obermühlthal. The restaurant and beer garden closed ten years ago. I remember it when it was a popular beer garden, but when the local trains no longer stopped at the Mühlthal train station, the beer garden was doomed. A moody place to visit on a rainy fall day.

The Chinese Tower,
also known as China Tower and at the beginning as Great Pagoda, is a 25 meter high timber in the style of a pagoda, which is located in Munich in the English Garden.
The building was built in between 1789 and 1790 and made available in 1792 with the opening of the English Garden as a viewing public.
In one of the air raids on Munich during the Second World War the Chinese tower burned down, but was reopened in 1952 after reconstruction.
The tower is now considered a landmark of the English Garden.

For Wednesday Walls
You aren't intending to put that glass on here are you? This cheeky little goat flitted between the tables in a pub garden. It seems like I took this only the other day but it was nearly nine years ago. For the Mono Conversion from colour I used Google Silver Efex Pro which is now totally free. Another rework of an old snapshot. I am hoping to get out and about with my camera this week.
An abondoned beer garden, and obviously not just for the season. It closed ten years ago. A sad sight, I knew it when it was still a popular spot for day trips from Munich.
