Today WAH are visiting Nerds and Geeks
Here we have one geek and 2 nerds who get together to try craft beers.
Here we have Preamble Pils (American pilsner), Red Rye (amber), Parasol (white IPA), Hopshell (IPA) Sturm Lager (helles bock), Nitro Snake (Irish stout), Agri Cola (British Mild)
Serious business...... cheers.
Taken during a stop @ Brewery Vivant during a photowalk. This was part of the Charcuterie appetizer we ordered.
A local San Diego brewery with a lot of choices. The beers are great, the food is very good as well, and the ambiance is quite cool with both indoor and outdoor seating.
The fish and chips - Stone Buenaveza Salt & Lime Lager beer-battered cod with french fries, served with tartar sauce and malt vinegar. I opted for the parmesan garlic fries.
Taken during a stop @ Brewery Vivant during a photowalk. Since I'm horrible with the name of beers, I'll just say that this was a beer flight that was offered.

Today is my daughter's 37th birthday. Last night I took her to Stone Brewery for dinner. We had a great time chatting about photography (she has a studio) and tons of other stuff.
She's also learning how to like IPAs. :-D

The beef dip - Slow-cooked prime rib, French onion spread, creamy horseradish, gruyere cheese, crispy fried onions, served on a brioche roll with au jus for dipping.
#2 is called “Electric Avenue”, which was my favorite from Lamplighter Brewing in Cambridge. I had to buy a 4-pack on my way out. It tastes like raspberry sour candy. The name of the flight is “Make Tart, not War”.
