Definitely one of the most scenic beaches my wife and I have visited. Praia As Catedrais translates from gallego to "Beach of the Cathedrals'. It is the turistic name of Praia de Augas Santas ('Beach of the Holy Waters'). The Spanish beach is located in the Ribadeo municipality, in the province of Lugo (Galicia), on the Cantabric coast. It lies about ten kilometers west from the town of Ribadeo. Its name is derived from the formations of its cliffs.
It has been declared a Natural Monument by the regional Ministry for the Environment of the Xunta de Galic
This is Bahia Honda in the Florida Keys. My family drove down to Key West in 2008. Bahia Honda was possibly the most scenic beach along the way. Have a "Margarita," sit back and enjoy the beach life of the Florida Keys!!!
Photographing the night sky in Bali was nearly impossible. However. the sunsets were spectacular almost every evening. This image was captured during our stay at the Seminyak Beach Resort.

This is "Dolphin Island", but I'm not sure why it's named like that. Is it possible to see dolphin here? I haven't seen one here yet :D
No matter what this so so dreamy island, we really enjoy our time here :)

This is the closing photo of Lombok Trip Series. There are many unexplored places in Lombok, and I'll explore it again someday.
Apart from some deficiencies (lack of public facilities), Lombok is very beautiful island. Paradise!

New Quay beach, with a bit of New Quay in the background. A lovely beach and at this time of year a great place to blow the cobwebs away with an early morning stroll or for tiring the kids and dogs out before bed.
Recently visited Ajaccio, the capital city of Corsica. It is the largest settlement on the island as well as the birthplace of Napoleon Bonaparte. Corsica proved to be fantastic destination with rugged coastlines, historic locations and plenty of idyllic beaches to worship the Mediterranean sun.
Lombok Trip Episode 02 - Senggigi Beach
Senggigi beach is one of beautiful black sand beaches in Sekotong, Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara province, Indonesia. Many things we can do to enjoy this beach: watching, photographing, swimming, surfing, playing, etc.
There are so many inns, restaurants, souvenir shops, vehicle rentals, travel agents, beautiful beach, also a small port in Senggigi area. That's why so many tourist choose Senggigi as place to stay and a starting point to explore Lombok.

Sorry for this being a bit of a post and run. Between family, work and other things I am finding the days are not as long as I would like. I hope to try and get things better organised soon and improve my commenting.

Lombok Trip Episode 09 - Spending Time Together
Some of my friends asked me to upload a photo of my wife and me when when we're in Lombok. So here it is, I didn't get the better picture of ourself than this :)

One frosty neighborhood.
This view from my front door was especially pretty one early morning. Something was in the air !! Maybe the tiny crystals in the atmosphere made colors glowing in the trees and clouds. I just had to take a shot at it.
Frost forms the same way as dew except it occurs when the dew point is below freezing. True frost forms when the temperature is below freezing. The moisture goes straight from a gas to a solid. If the moisture goes from a gas to a liquid and then to a solid then the result will be frozen dew. You can tell the difference between frost and frozen dew by looking at them. Frost looks more feathery, brighter and you can see the crystal formations. Frozen dew is solid and does not have quite the white appearance as frost.

I was trying to get some close up shots of the colorful shells and the patterns of them lying on the shore, or lack thereof. A couple approached and I was waiting for them to pass to have an undisturbed shot, then I noticed their shadows in the reflection from remnants of the last passing wave. I'm glad they walked by because I think it added a much grander element.
