While taking senior pictures we happened to catch a butterfly... fortunately for us it was wounded (& quite unfortunate for it) otherwise we wouldn't have gotten this picture :D

The sun is up, the sky is blue
It's beautiful, and so are you.

When I first started collecting Blythe in 2012, I didn't get the appeal of Miss Sally Rice (on the left). To me, she looked a little strange and different from most Blythes, with her translucent face and bigger lips. Then suddenly, I loved her and had to have her! I don't know exactly why, but it may be that the very fact that she is different made her special to me. That, and her awesome blue-green hair.
Fast forward to 2016, and the moment I saw the announcement for UFO A Go Go, I knew I had to have her--there was no question about it! Her gorgeous aqua blue hair and pale face with salmon lips and blush make her so appealing to me.
They both have great stock outfits, as you can see here. Aren't they beautiful together?

"He said I'm worth it, his one desire
I know things about him that you wouldn't wanna read about
He kissed me, his one and only, (yes) beautiful liar
Tell me how you tolerate the things you just found out about"
"You never know
Why are we the ones who suffer?
I have to let go
He won't be the one to cry"

This view down Dlugi (Long) Street in Gdansk, Poland is one of my absolute favorites - in fact its the first of the 3500 shot trip collection to make it onto our wall. The clouds provide the drama and stunning Old Town Hall (Ratusz) sitting behind the lamp post provides an impressive Gdansk subject. The Old Town Hall dates back to the 1300s, but saw most of the Renaissance flair added during the 1600s. Although it was bombed by the Soviets in 1944, much of the building survived and what didn't was masterfully reconstructed. Dluga Street runs from the Green Gate to the Town Hall and serves as the Gdansk Town Square, loaded up with shops, restaurants and amazing facades~!

The Capitoline Venus is a 2nd Century AD Roman copy of the 'Aphrodite of Knidos' (or Cnidus; a Greek city in ancient Asia Minor).
In most depictions of Venus, it can be assumed that the artist intends to present his version of perfect feminine beauty. This slightly over life-size marble statue shows the Venus/Aphrodite, the goddess of love, as she emerges naked from her bath.
In this more modest (Venus Pudica) version of the 'statue of Venus' type, the goddess uses both hands to cover her breasts and groin. This version of Venus ultimately derives from the less modest original by Praxiteles, the renowned 4th Century BC Greek sculptor.
The statue was found in a garden near the Basilica of San Vitale in the 1660s and gifted to the museum by Pope Benedict XIV in 1752.
The Capitoline Venus was rediscovered in relatively good condition and required much less restoration than the most famous statue of this genre, the Venus de' Medici. Its reputation has grown relative to its Florentine rival in recent years.

My personal and professional friend Valerie got all decked out for holiday season in this phenomenal outfit she made. Then turned it into wonderful Christmas ornament that I would love to have on my Christmas tree. She wishes all Merry Everything and Happy New Year. Valerie is joyful gem indeed, whose friendship I truly treasure.
