I love the distinct black mask over the eyes of this bear.
The shot taken up in Whistler, BC. Whistler and Blackcomb Mountains are home to up to 60 black bears and cubs that have adapted to feeding, mating, and hibernating within ski area habitats.
My running track leads around the local zoo. One of the perks is that some of the animals can be easily watched from outside the fence even though the zoo itself is currently corona closed.
