October 11, 2015 - Today is my one year beard-iversary. I stopped shaving on this date last year. Some have asked why the beard: 1) I had never grown a one before 2) it's now approved at work and 3) someone dared me to do it. A year later, the beard has literally grown on me. This photograph is a nod to Kenny Chesney's "Hemingway's Whiskey" album cover which is fitting for the fall. Thank you to Katie for your help with the photo

On wednesday I went up to Brightwood to clean out my mothers storage unit. I only was able to load up about 1/2 the unit. It's mostly old tools that my father had collected over the years. If there was tool made to fix something my father had the tool. Several of the boxes said "office supplies", this hair was in one of the boxes. This is my fathers beard from 1958.
So.... It's summer, and i'm wondering if it's time for a little change. Trying to decide If I want to go back to a goatee, or something in between.
What do you guys think?
1- stay with the beard
2- try something different like this
3 - go back to the goatee ( or is that a Van Dyke?)
Make sure to view it at largest size for best effect.
2015 HorrorHound Weekend in the Sharonville, Ohio suburb of Cincinnati. The HorrorHound convention is an annual celebration of monster and horror films.
There were lots of beards at the event, but I don't recall ever seeing a thicker or fuller one than this guy has. Amazing.
