I found this from 2007.
I had no idea about cameras - i just seen something and clicked the shutter button.
All my holiday pics were spoilt as the camera setting showed the date on the pics.
I hate to see that on pics.
We live and learn.
This was taken from the Cliff Bay Hotel looking out to see.

Mid afternoon.All of a sudden these light rays appeared out to sea.I like the horizon as it seems to be curved rather than flat.

From an excursion i had to the beautiful island Senja in Troms Northern-Norway, back in January. I have posted one shot from the same location before, but when i was browsing the archive i found this one with a beautiful green beam of light. I figured that it was good for posting to Flickr. Picture was shot in Steinfjord, Senja, Northern-Norway.
An experimental shot that didn't work too well but at the same time didn't turn out too badly. Food for thought for my next Milky Way trip. About as close to a selfie as I'm comfortable with!
Centre Pompidou / Paris
It is the largest and most important museum of modern art in Europe. It is featuring the late 19th-20th century art. with over 50,000 works, including movements from Fauvism, Cubism, Surrealism and Abstract Expressionism.
The escalators are located outside the building, with a nice look over Paris. The building looks very futuristic, with all of its internal facilities – air conditioning, elevators and pipework – on its façade!.
Post processed with LR. Mainly increased contrast and I used dehaze. This led to the enhanced blues not only in the sky.

The two beams can reportedly be seen by a 60-mile radius on a clear night, from Brooklyn to the Bronx, Queens to Staten Island, and Wall Street to Jersey City.
Formed from 88 powerful bulbs positioned into two squares that echo the fallen Twin Towers, the light memorial reaches four miles skyward. It shines from a roof near the trade center, traditionally from sunset to dawn, and has become a moving, quietly powerful element of the anniversaries since the attacks.
Last September 11, my husband and I spent several hours at the Brooklyn Bridge Park waiting for the beams to appear.
As we were leaving the premises I turned around to see the lights one more time. I looked up and saw the beams projecting their light straight up into the sky.

This photo is part of my "Old Mill" series. There is a hole in the ceiling and so if the sky is cloudless and the sun is high, it creates this beam that travels across the open area. On this day the sun was very bright so the spot light on the floor was very illuminating in this dark space.
Sun rays shine through the clouds as the sun slips just below the horizon of Mount Audubon in the Indian Peaks wilderness. The slight rippling of the waters of Red Rock Lake is the result of a Mallard hen and her obedient ducklings cruising the waters. The scene was so dominated by blues, that I thought a mono treatment was warranted.
