Koh Ngai – The Paradise IslandKoh Ngai or also named Koh Hai, is a tiny but stunningly beautiful Island at the Andaman Sea. If you are up for some relaxing days including staying at one of the best beaches in Thailand, then you should definitely visit Koh Ngai. Small, private, idyllic with an unforgettable scenery of a white-sandy beach and crystal clear sea water. That’s how I would describe that island. So if you are up to do some Island Hopping in Thailand – don`t miss to stop at this wonderful Island.
I am not really a fan of beaches of any kind (well, sometimes :-)) but this one is very special. I'd never seen a more beautiful beach before, really not! This is the so called Turtle Beach in the beautiful Sultanate of Oman. The beach is not easy to access, you have to drive a quite long distance and then walk, but it was worth it. We didn't see any turtles, though. They come in the night and you must book a special tour because this beach is then closed for the visitors

And it starts to shine
And I see it burn when you bring me sunlight
Is it all you need
To feel this heat
To feel like everything is all that you dreamed
Is it all too much
Did you get enough
Does it set on fire all the things that you touch
And it fills me up
And it starts to shine
And I see it burn when you bring me sunlight...♬ ♬
Makara Beach : a stony beach for walking, fishing, diving and excersising your dog!
We took some sunset photos from here!
We will certainly come back here when we have more time so we can follow the 6km Makara Walkway (managed by the Department of Conservation) that starts at the beach and follows the coast before a gradual climb to the cliff tops, where there are spectacular views (which we did not know beforehand and which one of the residents who we met there on the beach told us! ) of Mana, Kapiti and the South Island.
I can just imagine what a beautiful view one will have up there where the sun is peeking at you now!
Imagine you are on a dream beach in the summer and have it alone for you...
Reminiscent of the Caribbean, a manless sandy beach on the Isle of Harris, outer Hebrides.
Thanks for visiting!

I drove down to the Willow's beach the other day and sat on this log for awhile. It was most relaxing and enjoyable. I don't go to the beach anywhere near enough. I'll have to do this more often. I hope everyone has a great day tomorrow. 😃

An old image from my hard drive that I decided to play around with.....
Taken at sunrise at Merewether Beach (NSW, Australia) way back in May 2011.
The image doesn't follow the classic rule of thirds - but I felt that there was enough interest happening throughout the scene that it warranted the presentation as shown - hope you agree!!
Thanks for any comments, views or favorites - greatly appreciated!!
Wishing each and all of you a fantastic day and week ahead!!
I had a brilliant day yesterday . It started with a cycle down to the coast on a perfect morning. I had planned to go fishing but a stye tide hadn't dropped much I went to check the bees. As I was inspecting one colony I heard this amazing noise all around, and looked up to see a big swarm wheeling all around. Thye were entering a vacant hive right next to me. What a wonderful experience, to just stand there in this vortex of whirling bees. Leter I spent a wonderful hour at the edge of the sea watching the waves pounding up the sand. I also caught a Cod so was very happy. A cycle back home for a perfect day. Bloodbuzz Ohio is by the National , and is one of the few songs I have that mentions a swarm of bees. In this image from last year I'm imagining the mighty cloud is the swarm.
