Mientras marchábamos del circo nuestras miradas inevitablemente iban hacia atrás para apurar y digerir las imágenes que nos llevábamos en la retina. En una de estas, asomándonos por un camino, esta enormidad apareció ante nosotros. Tan enorme que tuve que hacer una panorámica a pulso de unas 6 o 7 fotos en vertical. No es el estilo de foto al que suelo estar acostumbrado, de paisaje tan abierto (no todo son primeros planos @mardonss 😉), pero la espectacularidad me llamó mucho la atención. Con @rafadiez78 y el mencionado anteriormente

Como los primeros guerreros que protegen este histórico pueblo riojano escoltado por los montes Obarenes que le dan ese aspecto tan cinematográfico.
La foto la saqué y edité hace un par de años y la rescato estos días al recordármela la visita que le hice ayer, incluida su increíble cresta.

Prevost's squirrel or Asian tri-colored squirrel is a colourful species of rodent in the family Sciuridae. It is found in forests in the Thai-Malay Peninsula, Sumatra, Borneo and nearby smaller islands, with an introduced population in northern Sulawesi. Although the Prevost's squirrel is declining is some regions because of habitat loss and hunting, the species is not considered threatened since it generally remains common and widespread. It can live in somewhat disturbed habitats and often visits plantations or gardens. It mostly feeds on plant material, especially fruits, but also takes insects.
