On the morning we left the Valley, we made one last stop at 'Tunnel View' for this sight. El Capitan is prominent on the left side of the image. The trees hide the highways and byways from sight.
The contrast could not be greater after the mist of Baguio , we visited the Philip-Ann beach resort , Anilao , Batangas Calabarzon on the island Luzon, Philippines

Anilao is a quiet barangay on the northern coast of Mabini, a peninsula-municipality that separates Balayan Bay from Batangas Bay. Yep, it’s just a barangay. But Anilao’s popularity prompted resorts in neighboring villages to market themselves as also part of Anilao. These days, as far as tourism is concerned, Anilao is almost synonymous to the whole Mabini municipality.
Thanks to its proximity to Manila (only 3 hours away), it has become an ideal destination for divers, especially to beginners who may be a bit hesitant to travel to the far corners of the country for a first dip. The hidden wonders it keeps in its depths are no longer secret, but they continue to amaze curious souls.
Making its first run leading on the GTW, CN 8952 which is now graced in GTW's classic Burdakin Blue to help celebrate Canadian National's 25th anniversary of privatization, found its way onto Q116 out of Chicago. With only a few notable classic GTW monuments still trackside, the logical choice was clear where to go. Passing under the steam era coal tower in Lansing, the stunning leader creeps along with a friendly engineer behind the throttle enjoying every moment of it. While it may not be the 90s with 4 and 5 unit sets of blues screaming along with hot auto parts boxes, the gleaming red and blue would make John Burdakin grin from ear to ear.
Another version of the Grand Hotel front porch - with sunshine & flowers! Usually filled with people, but if you are there in the off season you have the place to yourself... so nice! : )
No one said that tears do not escorreriam by the face, but smiling maybe you can use those tears as spiritual cleansing and let it rain. Rain until the sun reappears and overflow you from light. No one said that you would be able to see clearly everything around you, but smiling maybe you will rediscover the path after tripping a few times. Nobody said it would be easy and its not!.
