Belfast City Centre

BBC Broadcasting House is located in the centre of Belfast on the north side of Ormeau Avenue at the junction with Bedford Street. It was built in 1939 to the designs of James Millar in Art-Deco style.

My photo was featured on the BBC weather report this evening. Sun and showers and rainbows over Perth today!

A network of lights from cities, viewed from above, at the Melbourne display of the BBC Earth Experience. A gorgeous digital display of photography and film.

Watchers had bean bags and other seating to enable them to enjoy the experience in comfort.

Again, taken early in the morning, it's the only time during daylight hours when the area isn't full of people.

This statue appeared outside the Beeb (where I work) this week.

I think there may be a new series of a certain programme about to begin. Although I haven't really been much of a fan since the original, true Top Gear, which aired from 1977-2001. Particularly the years with William Woollard at the helm, which I'm sure most people on here are too young to remember!
