After our feast at Black Star Pirate BBQ, decided to try and see how close I could get to that old broke-down pier I'd seen so many times while cycling across the Richmond-San Rafael bridge. Memorial Day sunrise at Clipper Cove from Yerba Buena Island. I met up with Rob Y at Battery Spencer and we hiked up Slacker Hill, determined it was far too foggy, then drove through the city looking for a shot. We got to YBI and saw these rays breaking through the grey morning skies and shot a few before crossing the bridge and hiking along the eastern span shoulder for a bit. Then, we got into some trouble at the old bay bridge...yadda yadda...and called it a day.
