Looks like a dead animal, a pig's head, or just a washed-up tree stump on the edge of the Ering am Inn flood polder.

We all should pause in our everyday stress once in a while to really be aware of how many miracles existing around us. And then, one moment longer to be thankful for that.

Usually surrounded by reeds you can not see this deserted place.
It was fortunate that the swamp was frozen.

In the evening at a renatured former brown coal mine.
Another discovery from the beautiful Trieb valley in the saxonian Vogtland.
This time it was this little spruce that fascinated me. It's amazing how it grows out of the tree stump of its ancestor, which, judging by the moss, seems like it is not standing here anymore for quite a while already.
Here you can see very well, even if nature sometimes takes a longer time, in the end it finds a way.
